I was watching the game a couple days ago and they were talking about these new necklaces that many of the red sox players are wearing now and they said it is kind of like those magnetic bracelets that are supposed to give you energy. I have looked all over the internet but i cant find anything that looks like what they have. Does anybody know what these necklaces are actually called or where I can find one?

Welcome to the site, first of all. I don't know what they are called, but I do know its sham science and doesnt work. In case you were wondering.

Thanks Yeszir, you beat me to it. But if you're still interested, 04redsoxram, I'll gladly sell you a superb 100%-effective energy necklace for only, say, $29.95. I absolutely POSITIVELY guarantee that it works AT LEAST as well as the ones the Red Sox wear. Hurry! This offer won't last long! Take advantage of my bargain basement prices and bulk discounts!

(Now I just have to stick a couple of quarters in the trinket vending machine at the local grocery store in order to stock up on my trusty "patented" "energy" "necklaces" :) .)

Uh, I just changed my avatar and sig. Does that count? No? Well, maybe I'll mail everyone on the site one of my "amazing" "wow, that almost works!" "energy" necklaces... for a small donation, of course.

Awwwww. I think I remember he was born shortly after you signed up. You made a post or something. Cute kid.

Well, he was conceived shortly after I signed up. Hmmm... maybe that can be an advertisement for talksox.com. Sign up and increase your fertility! (Or maybe it was that kewl necklace I started wearing around the same time... :) .)

Yeah I saw that Bellhorn was wearing one, I was like "Mark Bellhorn's wearing a neckalace... I need it!" yeah...

LOL. oh God me too.

You know, I was going to say something sarcastic, but really this site can use a little feminine input. So that's cool. Though I'm not totally sure I understand the Mark Bellhorn obsession. Can one of you two ladies (at least I'm hoping you're ladies) explain this to me? The way I sees it, he's a relatively well-built guy, like many baseball players (David Wells, for instance... uh... or Rich Garces... er...), but he's kind of greasy and scruffy looking, no? But, hey, I'm just a guy, so maybe I'm missing out on his charm and such. So (though I fear I'm opening the floodgates here) what is it about Bellhorn?

Oh, I have an idea -- your favorite letter is K, and Bellhorn provides you with a lifetime supply :) . No? That's not it?
