This guy has been putting up absurd numbers for the season as of right now. I was wondering what you guys thought about this. It is tough to ignore what he is doing, but do you guys think that it is a fluke. I did at first, but now its 40-something games into the season.

I don't think its a fluke I think its a young guy getting an amazing opportunity and making the best of it. There's a lot of young guys this year playing good Wang and Cano-Yankees. Victor Diaz-Jose Reyes-David Wright-Mets. garland pitching well for the Chi sox.

It's people like you why baseball is such an untrustful sport. Anytime someone puts out numbers it's immediatly... he's on steroids. Maybe he just worked on his swing and what not, maybe it's jsut his break out year also remind you the guys a twig. You can't jsut say a guys on steroids with absoloutly nothing to back it up.

Cano could not hit water id he fell out of a boat and Wang is jsut one of those rookie pitchers who go on a short tear adn then get lit up I wouldn't put them in the same breath as Roberts Jose Reyes (hast he been around for for liek 3 or 4 years now) or David Wright .

Cano can't hit water huh? I guess he just didn't hit that homerun into the 2nd deck in right center. nah he can't hit at all and his defense sucks. oh yea Wang is not a good pitcher either.

Brian Roberts got hit in the knee tonight against the Mariners, expected to miss 3-5 weeks or so I hear...

 

Javy Lopez also broke his hand, he will be out for about a month.

I heard Roberts was only day to day, but they put Lopez on the DL and Sosa came off the DL the other day.

Yeah, then I heard wrong about Roberts and his injury....but it still has to concern them with his production after a knee injury, whether it was just a HBP or not.

What's the status on Billy Mueller's knee injury from the HBP?

He actually got hit on the foot...but near the beginning of the toes. Looked like it hurt but I don't think it should shake him up for today's game. I'm not complaining if Youk plays in his place though. I love Youk. It's great to be able to have players like Youk come off the bench and fill in for an injured player.

Yeah but you can't say he's a good hitter if he's only hit one in his career and he's been playing for two months now.

NO I'm not saying he dosen't have that potential it's there I jsut don't want him put in with the guys who are hitting at that above and beyond level.
