You'd think that Fenway's odd dimensions and angled seats would make it a poor choice for hockey. In any case, the 20,000 or so seats of the fleet center would be sufficient, since hockey sucks and everyone hates it anyway.

Agreed, but if they're running the park 365 days a year, it doesn't leave much time for construction for improvements such as the right field roof seats or the Monster seats.

 

I think it's great that the new ownership wants to stay in Fenway, but let's be honest, Fenway still needs a lot of work to be even close to on par with many of today's modern stadiums.
