I Got A Question For All Of You

Right now it has been reported of Boston fans making fun of Mariano Rivera's deaths in his family. Saying "lets go swimming". Taunting and cheering is one thing but making fun of death? I hope this is not true. I don't have a problem with any of you guys but I just want to know if this is true.

that is definately a negative, i know a lot of dumbass sox fans and i have heard nothing of that.

 

i do think however that the media blew the "tragedy" out of proportions. saying how it was amazing that he came back and pitched. i mean seriously. it was his wifes cousins kid. if my wife cousins kid died in my pool i would fly back for the funeral but would have no problems doing anything, especially pitching against my rival team. the damn media made it seem like he was superman. the damn flight was harder on him that the death i bet.

They were cleaning the pool at HIS house, which leads me to believe that he was very close to the deceased. Even if it wasn't someone that you were close to you still feel sorrow for the victims and he was worried about how his wife was feeling as well.

i havent really heard any of this either, MANY of the sox fans i know have a TON of respect for mo. i respect him, and i expect other fans to realize that these were family deaths, and making fun of something like that to a person like him is just as bad as saying it to someone you know.

I don't think that Sox fans are saying that. That is just plain classless to say anything of that sort. I can't imagine what Rivera has gone through.

The Media blew it all out of proportion. I'd like to see you all pitch a major league game with Jetlag. Ever had it? Your exhausted. Especially against one of the most "vaunted" offenses in baseball...lol
