I have to say shame on all the Sox fans who bashed Lowe all year. He came through for you guys in both series. He and Wakefield for his relief work should get honorable mentions on this championship. I just read an article about Nolan Ryan and how he pithed a game in 76 with a torn calf muscle, going 12 innings and striking out 16. I don't want to hear about El Duque and his "tired arm" anymore. Or Schilling and his ankle. El Duque should get released for that s***. Buck and and come to the park to play pussies. My oppinion.

In a series punctuated by Yankees and Redsox fans aguing till the cows come home, talking trash, and beating each other up. Whoever wins this series, we're all winners here. This has been as good a 7 game series as i've seen in a while and have to tip my Yanks/Rice Owls cap to both teams. Both teams bullpens and starting pitching is battered and it may not matter who wins because the NL winner is going to be a stronger team most likely. Either way you slice it this has been SWEEEEET! Game 7 will be wild.

The Media blew it all out of proportion. I'd like to see you all pitch a major league game with Jetlag. Ever had it? Your exhausted. Especially against one of the most "vaunted" offenses in baseball...lol

I would definately say it's not over. Our pitching is still suspect in the Big Apple.

Ah, RedSoxFan4Ever, you are the quintisential sox fan. Typical. You have to go back to the Yanks Suck thing. Can't just talk baseball and be intelligent. You lose 2 in a row with your best pitchers throwing and still the Yanks suck. Your offense manages 1 hit in the combined first 6 innings of both games and still the Yanks Suck. I dig talking baseball with Sox fans because of the connection between the two teams, but fans like you are the best. Since you brought out the worst in me on this one here's a quote from Dan Wetzel of Yahoo about the Sox Yanks rivalry: "Logically there can be no rivalry between a hammer and a nail." Well i was a pitcher up till twilight baseball and what he says is true about fastball pitchers needing to be able to push off well and have a good base. However, if he was a team player and knew he had this problem, why didn't he say "Hey, don't put me in". If he knows he's not going to have his best stuff, it's time to let someone else pitch and rest it a few more games. No offense but this guy just isn't the brightest bulb in the box. Either that or he's too arrogant to realize he was hurting the team out there. Either way it was a great game and i look forward to game 2. PS: Leiber is poop so you guys have a real good chance of getting one back tonight...lol

Whether it's entertainment or not. You look like an idiot to say something like that and then go out and get shelled. Not to mention there's a factor of heating up the opposing team so that they come out with intent to burry you. Adrenaline can go a long way. This isn't professional wrestling. It does matter if you win or lose.

Well i'm not gonna fan any flames here. Schilling did have an injury so he has a little bit of an excuse. That being the case Francona should have either pulled him ealier when he saw he was throwing more off-speed stuff and the fastball wasn't spotted, or not started him at all. It was an amazing game and I think Mussina looked incredible till the time when Torre should have pulled him and left him in too long. All credit to both teams. Actually if your smart, and wind up playing the Yankees: You go with a 3 man like Arizona.. You hit us with: Schilling Pedro Either Lowe or Aroyo Then back to Schilling and Pedro for 4 & 5 if it gets that far. Just a Yankee fan oppinion though.

Thank you kindly. I'm not a Boston hater actually, i think the rivalry has been great for baseball for centuries. Both teams have most often been good and the games have always been great. Don't get me wrong, i like the yanks to beat you guys, i'm just saying i wish it wasn't always "Yankees Suck" or "Boston Sucks" if either team sucked, they'd get as much press as the Devil Rays...lol

Ya know it amazes me how much RedSox fans have nothing better to talk about than Yanks players and how much the Yanks suck etc. It's shame Sox fans don't have anything good to say about their own team. BTW, Pedro is about to "Jump The Shark" better deal him now like you did Clemens. lol
