I want the game tomorrow, one day of waiting is too much.

Anyway, I won't be complaining if Wakefield pitches game 7. He's not too bad against the Yankees.

Well, weather.com has changed the forcast... Not looking too good.

"Rain likely with a few thunderstorms. Low 57F. ESE winds shifting to SW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Rainfall possibly over one inch."

Look I can respect the fact that you guys are Sox fans and all that. I have respect for the Sox and their fans. But, its like a golden rule if your a Yankees fan you have to dislike the Sox and vice-versa. But its kind of funny reading these posts about the weather. I mean if the Red Sox need an act of god just to have a chance then they really shouldn't win. I mean it baffles me that every year they are contenders they are somehow eliminated. I mean Babe,Bucky, buckner, Boone. I wonder it will be this year maybe Bernie. I am not trying to pour water on this sinking ship but, its pretty much in the books. even if the Sox win 2 out of three at home which i expect will happen. I don't think the Sox are gonna get swept, but I don't think they can sweep the Yanks in fenway either. They are still gonna have to face Moose or Leiber again. I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of flak for this, but its worth I think. Hell, its not the Red Sox who worry me anyway its the Cardinals.

honestly, i think that the cardinals will take it all this year. i mean there is no 3 batter lineup scarier than the pujos, rolens and edmonds.

i mean the yankees have the 2-3 of jeter sheffield and the sox have the 3-4 of manny ortiz but 1-2-3 is just dirty.

either way this post season is going to go down as one of the best in the history in baseball imo. houston is going to take at least 2 at home and the same goes for the sox.

Then why don't you go to a Cardinals board, look for the Weather thread, and post your first ******** post there?

redsox rooter, easy. i think hes right with a lot of his post. every year that we are contenders we get knocked out. youd think a team as good as us should be able to at least win it all at least one of the chances we get for the past 86 years.

im not worried, but i do think its possible to sweep the yankees at fenawy, and go back to NY with a 3-2 lead. they got the wall puncher against a great young pitcher.

i think the yankees have really stepped up their pitching, pitching COMPLETE GEMS may i add against the best lineup in the AL, arguably. the yankees are just a great team in the postseason who dont lose too much.

yankeesrule was right, we do somehow get eliminated every year. hopefully not this year, but if we dont win tonight its over, the yanks wont lose 4 straight. period.

postponed game moved to monday @ 5:10 unless houston sweeps then game moves to 8:20 pm.

good for the sox...pedro may get to pitch game 5, and schills MIGHT be ready to go for game 6. FOX said he is making progress and looks a lot better.

Supposedly Peter Gammons, according to bostondirtdogs.com, thinks the game could be pushed back to 10 EST because of the rains. Looks like we'll all be up till 2:30 again...
