Hi RedSox fans, well this is my first post here. Die Hard REDSOX fan!!

Cant wait for Tuesday Night!

LETS GO REDSOX

LETS GO NATION!

Schilling and Pedro need to pitch well in NY

We will chew up the Yanks in Game 3 and 4 at Fenway, we will have Arroyo and not sure who will go in Game 4 for the Redsox

Yanks will have the Moose in game 1, after that we will hit their pitching and hard!!

GO MANNY!!

piece of cake?

I'm not sure about that, but we will win...

I dont think any game with the MFY's is a piece of cake. I think though that this series is going to be epic and I want to kick there asses.

I think mussina is doing well lately, its going to take every one on our team to rise to the occasion.

I am going nuts waiting...

go sox.

i just read this in the new york daily news. I wasnt aware of some of these ailments.

Game 1 starter Mike Mussina is fine and should be well-rested because he flew back to New York before Game 4 against the Twins in order to be ready to start in a possible decisive game. But Lieber and Brown both have back problems, though the Yankees claim not to be worried.

There are other problems, too. In Game 4, Javier Vazquez had an outing that was typical of his substandard second half, throwing several sharp innings but ultimately giving up too much to be considered effective.

As for Orlando Hernandez, who knows? He did not throw yesterday or Saturday and no one seems to know if he will ever be able to contribute this October, though a bullpen

Here are some words of wisdom from Darren Erstad about our boys:

"These boys are winning the World Series, by the way," said Erstad, an Angel who possesses the kind of iron required of a champion. "That's the deepest team I've ever seen. They have every piece of the puzzle. I don't see anybody beating them."

One game at a time...we'll do this.

when i think of mussina at fenway, i think of that one dreadful game where he almost threw a no-hitter, and then *gasp* carl everett *sigh* broke it up. to me, i would rather have had him get the damn no hitter because i hate everett, but anyway, it will be a fight no matter whos pitching. its red sox/yankees, and these are the games that prove what it means to be a red sox fan.

It was a perfect game, not a no hitter. This one will be close, both are great pitchers.

But yeszir, it wasnt a perfect game... it was a perfect game until carl "i am always gonna be a jackass as long as i live" everett broke it up, so in the end, it wasnt a perfect game...

But he said he broke up the no hitter. It wasnt anything by the end of the game, but when dinosaur carl got the hit, Mussina had a perfect game going.

my god, i have to agree...who cares, my bad, it was a perfect game...o well...

anyway, mussina has been pretty good against us if i remember correctly (?), and i really would like to absolutely demolish him in game 1, and make him nervous for his next game against us. and why are there so many threads on this topic?

Despite pitching well in the postseason, and even against Boston, Mussina has a horrible record. It's because he's been matched up, as the number 1 starter, with Pedro. He'll have a tough matchup again this year with Schilling.
