pitching true, but we swept anaheim 3 games at HOME. we dont have that this time, and we have struggled over in anaheim. theyre offense is somewhat overlooked too, with the exception of vlad. but let me tell you this, if it comes down to a battle of the bullpens we are going to get knocked up bad.

I have to agree that I like the 4pm EST game times better than 10pm EST. Anyway, it's going to be a tough series. Washburn has dominated us in the past. We've got to believe that Schilling and Pedro can carry us in this series, because Anaheim has finished the year on a hot streak!

I hear ya RedSox24, I'm a lil nervous meself. Dont get me wrong I think the Sox can and will win this series and hopefully all three, but sure I'm still worried. Last October I think I felt every emotion possible, and I dont expect this year to be any different, except for maybe that one devastation that comes from an early winter.

I'm excited and worried. The Red Sox could easily go up 2-0 in this series, but just as easily be down 0-2.

The key to this series will be starting pitching. I believe that whichever team gets better starting pitching will win it.

Washburn, Colon, and Escobar are all capable of dominating in any given game. The good news is, so are Schilling, Pedro, and Arroyo.

I worry about Eckstein, Figgins, Guerrero, etc.

I feel good about Schilling, Martinez, Cabrera, etc.

Both of these teams are going to fight. I'd wouldn't be surprised to see it go 5 games.

I think the key to the series is Curt in Game 1. If he wins today, Sox in 4, wrapping up at Fenway. The Sox also need to have the lead by the 7th. Scoring runs on the Angels late in the game against Rodriguez and Percival has been almost impossible. I'm real nervous just like evey year, but I also feel real good about this series. The Angels are a hot team, but the Sox are on a mission. I just hope they don't press too much. GO SOX!!!
