We're winning this one after an early game brawl. Hernandez is bound to lose one before the season ends and it will be tonight!!! Arroyo is known for hitting a lot of batters, and although it will probably be semi- intentional, but mostly unintentional when he pegs one of the Yanks tonite (hopefully sheffield) a brawl will ensue. I'll take David Ortiz in the Bronx anyday, and I'm excited to see how Cabrera and the other new additions will acclimate to sports' best rivalry. Unfortunately we won't have another walk- off homer from Mueller, but I think Youk will do fine. IF Nixon plays I expect some magic. And hopefully Tek gets to go round 2 with A- Rod.

They can take the shirt off my back, but they can't take away the memories I got. ... What it's meant to me, they all know that every single day I went out there and I was proud to put that uniform on and what it represented." -- Nomar Garciaparra, July 31, 2004

C'mon! No fights or bean balling! The last thing I want to see is 4 more players suspended/injured.

Both teams are playing well right now but neither is on fire -- unlike the last two series in NY where one hot team crushed one bumbling team both times. This should be fun. :damon:

You're a gentleman, Empire.

Whatever happens for rest of season, this is the most significant Red Sox regular-season win EVER!

:D HOLY MOTHER OF SHITS!!!!! Against Rivera too!

All of the times I've seen him implode have been against the Red Sox. We just seem to have his number more so than any other team.
