After the 22-0 loss to Cleveland, El Duque followed up the next game with a Win. George Stienbrenner said in quotes after all the ******** being hung up at Yankee stadium, and comparing it to 9/11...El Duque has gotta be the best pitcher I've ever seen.

I can respect el duque just for this reason: he is a gamer. he has more heart than any other yankee pitcher out there right now....When the Yankees signed him midway thru this year, I was hoping Boston would give him a shot. Although he hasn't pitched against many playoff teams this year, I still think he's a good pitcher. But the Yankees don't reward him like they should...this is the same guy they traded to Montreal...and wasn't even in preseason camp (eventhough he was rehabbing)
