I skipped most of this thread, because I'm sure it was all about the yanks being *******s. Yes they should have forfeited the first game. They could of left friday night but decided to sit on their ass because of a cat.2 hurricane. A bunch of bullshir, making the fans and the yanks wait 6 or 7 hours.

They sat in Tampa, to make sure their families were safe. Why should the Yankees get a free game? It was a category 4 storm Friday night, and it was barreling down on Tampa. No way in hell do you leave under these circumstances.

It was a pretty bad storm. My city got hit by what's left of it last night. It was only 50-60 mph winds and rain, but it was enough to knock down many trees and the power was out when I woke up. It came back on, but my DSL was out all day (so I went to work.... )

 

I'd be able to understand yankee frustration on this if (and ONLY if) the yankees and MLB were not aware that TB was not going to make it on time. But the Rays made it very well known on Sunday that they may not make it.
