Please hold off on making game threads until a few hours before each game. Starting one this early really only stops everyone from posting in the other one, where much can still be said.

A lot of the Tigers' bats are right-handed, which gives Bronson an advantage with that terrific slider of his. The one who could really hurt us this game is Carlos Guillen; Bronson's going to have to drop some changeups underneath his hands to get him out.

Bronson really deserves a better record than 9-6, he's thrown really well this year.

Red Sox are returning home, where they tend to play much better.

Johnson's pitched decent, but Arroyo's better.

A game the Sox SHOULD win.

i think u mean 6-9...u said 9-6. but anyway...the only thing that makes me worry is that arroyo hasnt been as good at home. but the tigers suck so we should be able to win this game. with the exception of pudge and carlos guillen, no one worries me too much about this game. lets go sox.

that was a horrible blown lead by the jays. i like the way we are playing. we arent relying on people pounding the ball. we are manufacturing runs. i loved the face that roberts tried to bunt for a hit, that is something this team needs, a little variety.

w00t, myers is warming

damn...and the rangers are winning. at least we still won...anaheim didnt play tonight so here are the standings...

boston ---

anaheim .5 GB

texas 2.5 GB (will be 2 after their game is over)

yanks won so they are still up 5.5...grrr

at least its a good sign to see the yanks had to come from behind to beat the JAYS. as long as we keep winning like this i feel confident about this season.

we got lowe tomorrow who is pretty hot as of late. lets go buddy its all yours.

Bronson is going to be the next big thing. He does need more velocity on his fastball though, and maybe needs one more pitch, maybe a splitter?

I would like to see him muscle up (he's 6-5, but thin as a rail) and maybe get a little more consistency to combat lefties. He's been one of the best pitchers in the game against righties, but the lefties have been somewhat problematic, but he's really improving.
