Folks, this team has TALENT. Other towns would kill for Pedro-Shill-Manny-Ortiz-Nomar combo. On paper, the Sox have as much juice as the Yankees do, with one essential difference: fear of, and respect for, the manager.

 

How do you think the Yankees keep their winning ways, with the same combo of egos, pressure, and madness? El Torre!! The Yanks can't grow their hair below the lip. No music in the clubhouse. You better believe you can see the NY on their helmuts. And those rules help refine their play - crisp, clean-cut, no crybabies.

 

Tito's a good man, but Machievelli said it is better to be feared than loved, and no one on the team seems afraid to lose or act like a spoiled brat.

 

Time for a new manager. After this weekend, no matter the outcome. And summer reading:

I agree, and I have been saying it for weeks. Why is it in boston the manager doesnt get blamed. We sit around and lose games like last night, and we cant understand why.
