I'm assuming you mean when Nomar comes back, in that case I believe it will be Andy Dominique who is sent down. It would be Crespo, but he can play almost every position, and that's valuable in a bench player. Now if only he could hit........

Crespo should be beaten but even so, he'll probably remain with the team.

As much as I'd like to see Dinardo spend a little time at AAA, I don't think they can send him down. Wasn't he a Rule 5 draft pick? doesn't that mean they are stuck with him for the season or they lose him completely?

 

That being said, I see no reason for keeping Crespo around once Nomar is back.

Because Crespo plays infield positions, outfield positions and is not bad as a pinch-runner.

Infielders we have plenty of with Nomar back. Outfielders, on the other hand, we are definitely need one or two more, but preferably one or two more that can hit! (by the way, where the heck is Nixon!???)

Daubach and Brown were sent down, Malaska was called back up and Nomar was activated from the DL.

 

Trot began his rehab assignment last night, going 2-3 with a double for high-A Sarasota. He should be on his way to Pawtucket soon and if we're lucky, he might be back during the Dodger series at some point.
