If anyone had vlad they'd be the favorites in the AL. 9 RBI in one game is practically unheard of, plus he's got a cannon for a right arm. He really was vastly underrated in Montreal, and now that hes on a more popular team he'll finally get the attention he deserves from fans. This was just a step on the path to greatness...

He was my favorite player when he was on Montreal. Now that he's in the AL, a little harder to root for, but I still really like him. I'm so happy he didn't sell his soul ** cough cough yankees cough cough ** but I wish we had him. Is there anyone else as cool as him lol. He doesn't wear batting gloves, swings at every pitch, runs well, throws freaking 100 mph, and he's under 30.

Yeah he would be good on the redsox..but where would he play when trot gets back? Maybe you can put trot Dh and vlad in right or in left, trot in right, manny DH..and just sayin if he was on the sox

I like Trot but something tells me if Vladdy were the RF'er for Boston, Nixon might be elsewhere.

 

Remy says the guy is amazing because when you see him walking on the field before a game, he looks about 50 years old, all feeble and dragging his butt around. When the game starts, he looks completely different.

Vlad is an absolute beast, a work horse. I really enjoy watching him play. Drives in a ton of runs, and hits for power and average (.325 lifetime hitter). He has a ton of speed as well though a lot more focus has been on his hitting. Remember a few years back he missed the 40/40 club by one homerun, though his stolen base totals have dropped off the past few years. He will be around for a long time.

 

And yeah, I wish he were in Boston...

I know this dosen't have much to do with it but in MVP Baseball 2004 I always trade for Vlad, in my opinion he is the best player in the Majors and MVP

We could still use Manny as a DH so we would put Ortiz at First and Millar in the OF, trade Johnny and have an outfield of Vlad, Trot, and Millar.

 

Ah, maybe that wouldn't be so good.

How anyone can picture an outfield with Millar in it as an everyday player is astonishing to me. I'm probably going to have nightmares now.
