Can Lowe get back on track? Let's hope so, he's got a record of 1-2 with a ERA of 7.02 at Fenway Park. He dominated fenway last year, I hope he can turn it around tonight. GO SOX!

Lowe's pitching. That is bad. We need 10 runs for me to feel remotely safe. Hopefully he'll go 6 decently and be able to pass it off to our bullpen.

Damn, it feels like I haven't posted here in a long time.

Lowe's due for a good start, hopefully it will come tonight. It might be worthwile for the team to go with the optimum defensive setup (Ortiz DH, Millar at 1B, Kapler in RF) just to limit the possibility of a few extra balls falling in on that side of the field, which could upset our favorite man-child on the mound.

Yanks Update- Yanks leave bases loaded, then Mora comes up and homers

1-0 O's

Don't you just love that? 3 games ahead sure sounds nice. Hopefully we can get this win tonight.

I can't complain so far. Lowe looks alright, not too great since he's giving up a fair amount of hits, but much better than he has all season. He needs to keep it up and do this for 3 more starts before I regain my faith in him though.

Of course, I can't complain with the score of the game either.

i will never have faith in him again...

he is way too inconsistent to depend on a win most of the time

Credit to Crosby on that Bellhorn play. :)

Can Derek Lowe hang on to a 6-2 lead in the top of the 5th? ;)

I doubt it, but we have our bullpen if anything goes wrong. :)

The ball hit by Chavez made a mark on the back of the wall in centerfield. Ouch!

Just like that, it's a 1 run game. 6-5 bottom 5.

We need some more runs. We'll need to score about 10 runs for some insurance.

10, more like 10000000000000

Not that I'm a Lowe apologist or anything, but with either Nixon or Kapler in RF, the previous ball is caught, and Chavez leads off the next inning. Of course, that's assuming that they would have been positioned the same way as well, but you get the idea.
