So I roll into the office at about 8.55 (unfortunately, I'm have no Budweiser-branded "steaming mug of coffee" to cover for me), crank the computer, and log-on. Religiously, come rain or shine, win or loss, the first site I visit is http://www.bambinoscurse.com. The Diary of a Red Sox Fan. If you are not familiar with this daily post, I urge you to check it out. Not only is Edward Cossette (the author) a fantastic writer, but he is also extremely humorous, and - most importantly - a die-hard Red Sox fan.

Any website that perpetuates the garbage idea that the curse actually exists deserves to be ignored. If he actually believes in the "curse" enough to name his site after it, then I have to question just how much of a diehard (or intelligent) Red Sox fan he is.

He doesn't perpetuate the idea of the curse though. I read that site as well, its a great site. Its just a name for a blog JM, his posts are really insightful actually and he doesnt say stuff like: "the sox lost, THE CURSE LIVES". Check it out for the next few days, you'll see.

I read bambinoscurse, www.joyofsox.blogpsot.com and a few others that I click on randomly. Of course, i do the bdd thing, but thats more for the clever headlines. Soxaholix looks interesting, I'd never heard of it before.

I was thinking a while back that it would be cool to have a thread devoted to links. The problem I assumed was that it would get spammed all to hell. Any ideas on how to get one started?

Just start one. Mods can take care of spam I guess. If it's a thread encouraging links, then I dont think anything can qualify as "spam" in it. Maybe just limit it to sox blogs/news sources rather than other message boards, because that could possibly lead to spam.
