  1. Cole ragans is rumored to have a rotator cuff injury! Maybe we pass on both trades for now
  2. Is bres-slow serious about trading for ragans?? is ragans rotator cuff functional at this point??
  3. Has anybody else noticed that cohen and the Mets seems to sign a lot of yankees players
  4. I think dollars are important to Bregman. But so is winning.
  5. Alonso would be a shock to me if we went that route, but bres-slow has shocked me before! (Crochet trade)
  6. That is why I try to see as many games as possible. I have seen arias the most of all the Red Sox prospects and I will say truthfully, that defensively he is one of the best Red Sox shortstop prospect I have ever seen!!! his range is incredible and he Hoovers everything! But the very first game I ever saw him play, he airmailed a throw on a routine ground ball with the world’s slowest runner chugging to first base. I am so glad I got to see him many more times after that, because he is amazing defensively! Ps: still got way too much rafeala in his offensive game!
  7. I agree 100 percent. Trades have been an important part of roster building for us. yet another reason why drafting/international free agent signings and especially development are the lifeblood of an organization!!!
  8. Devin Williams signs with the Mets
  9. Do we really know what Sandoval is??? Seems like a bullpen kind of guy
  10. Fansided proposed we trade Tolle, Duran and Romero to the reds for Hunter Greene!!! Greene under team control to 2029! I know it is an expensive trade, but depending on Greene’s medicals, I might pull the trigger on that trade if the reds agree to it!
  11. I do not know if it is hope versus development. mayer is a hitter. No doubt in my mind. He just needs to stay healthy and see pitches. The kid can hit really well!!
  12. I believe Tolle and early need at least half a season in Worcester to sharpen their secondaries. I did not watch and Arizona league games, so I am blind in perales! Valera has special stuff!! Really special stuff, but health is a huge developmental factor for him. saw fajardo pitch once. And while the stuff played well, I need to see more innings, I have never seen travieso or Soto or delzine play so I cannot comment. While uberstine, drohan and Mullins have pedestrian stuff, I am confident all three can help in the Boston bullpen in 2026. I would be sad to lose Mullins in the rule 5 draft! (But happy if we could replace him with the Yankees pitcher cohen or Corbin. Something like that. That guy has some exciting stuff for the bullpen!!!) paez and monegro had decent stuff (pre injury) long term development needed on them! the 3 college pitchers are a mystery. I watched Witherspoon battle kade Anderson last year. No shame that Anderson won that game. Important point: Witherspoon is not Tolle! To hang Tolle like expectations on Witherspoon is not fair to Witherspoon. Evanson has two really good pitches. If he develops a third pitch, we may have something special!! Love his demeanor on the mound. He throws it up there and challenges guys to hit it. He could be our next Olive Garden pitcher serving up a lot of meatballs! sandlin is our current Olive Garden out here. Everything this guy throws is fast, but actual straight line, hitters just have to time it up!! Trade bait for sure!!! mcneil??? I saw a lot of Tennessee games and I think the best thing I can say about McNeil is that….. he is the new Clarke!!!
  13. Seems like we have disposed of a bunch of pitchers so far this offseason! I cannot remember an offseason with so many pitchers leaving so early
  14. I guess trading him depends on how soon the nationals have quality prospects coming up from the minors???
  15. Injuries are always the great equalizer. 2025 injuries really gave us fits come the post season. the development of all the young pitchers is going to really help some team separate
  16. But Seattle has some impressive arms coming up through the system???
  17. And yet, he is getting 41mm to pitch in 2026???
  18. Second year in a row that we had some impressive graduates! really hoping we get to see a healthy Valera in 2026. His stuff is extremely amazing
  19. From what I saw with my own eyes , fitts tended to throw the fastball on one plane when his velocity faded. But when he had his velocity, his pitches changed plane and were harder for batters to hit. I always felt he could be a really decent starter if his fastball had more movement! unfortunately, I did not get to see Clarke pitch in 2025, but in 2024, command and control (literally pitch to pitch) were sketchy at best. I am still puzzled why we moved an asset like Fitts for a one year rental in decline
  20. I agree! Hang’em Chaim over valued prospects but had no problem trading veterans.
  21. A couple of writers are predicting that next year alcanterra will have the command and control needed to be a premier pitcher again
  22. The twins are looking for 2 top 50 prospects for Ryan. Is gore really worth 3 top 75 prospects? if I am Seattle, I would be very loathe to part with Anderson!!!
