I do not think German is ready. He command and control is spotty. When his fastball sails, he resorts to aiming and then he gets lit up like a Christmas tree!
-
But I will take a 3/4 tater to strike out ratio any day of the week.
-
Danish and Robles bungled it tonight. They both need to go the way of the dinosaur!
-
We fight and fight and take the lead in the eight and then comes the bullpen to implode! How is Cora not a raging alcoholic!
-
My bad, I meant 17th tater of the season overall!
-
This has been a very exciting game. We take the lead in the 8th after starting the 2nd inning down by 3.
-
Kavadas with his 3rd tater at Greenville and 16th overall this season!
-
Mayer with his 6th tater of the season!
-
As prospects, I think wong and cotham have really improved to the point of being viable major leaguers in the future. Not stars, but contributors.
-
Makes a lot of sense. I think the 2 relief pitchers need to be right handed. We have three lefties that are serviceable.
-
Besides upgrading the bullpen, maybe Hang’em Chaim can trade for a stud outfielder, especially one with a little power.
-
Excuse my ignorance, but who is Gonzalez?
-
Roberto Ramos also released from Worcester.
-
If we stay on our current roll, maybe hernandez ends up on the 60 day dl.
-
Maybe the disillusioned medical guy who roots for the Yankees can obtain some insight from his colleagues about Tommy John recovery. Ps: I know that the definition of a Yankees fan means that he is socially inept and seriously lacking in personal hygiene causing colleagues to avoid him like the plague, so no need for anybody here to bring it up and discourage him from trying!
-
Pannone released from Worcester so he can pitch in Korea. Current (and future) rotation pieces Bello Walter Murphy Crawford Seabold Winkowski (after sale and eovaldi return)
-
Murphy promoted to Worcester! Worcester staff is stacked!
-
I believe “instincts” like those that Bradley has is a purely god given talent. I watched Bradley a ton at sc and from the day he arrived, until the day he left, he had that incredible ability to predict where the ball was going before it left the bat!
-
If you watch Duran and Bradley in the outfield. at the crack of the bat, Bradley is already moving to exactly where the ball is headed. It’s like esp or something! At the crack of the bat, Duran is standing still and trying to figure out where the ball is going. Then he uses his speed to try and get there.
-
I can not see Hang’em Chaim reading Duran, but hernandez could be included as part of a package deal.
-
In Portland, Sogard with his 3rd tater of the season and Potts with his 8th tater.
-
I meant flipped not filled
-
Well now you have filled the script on me. Bullpen arms - no retreads allowed! Starter arms - retreads and any other type of starter arm are welcome, especially the cheap ones!
-
In that case, I would like to add; just say “no” to trading for or signing bard! No more cheap retreads.

In April Kavadas was all over the place with his swing. Almost like he was really over thinking stuff. Now he is zeroed in and hitting more reactionary, based on where he is being pitched. At some point, pitchers will start pitching him more inside. If he can make that adjustment successfully, I think he will be ready to end the year in Portland, where he can be challenged by more refined breaking balls.
