I really like this kid. Defense is his calling card, but he has hit the cover off the ball thus far this season. A lot of people will question if this was rushed because he has less than 200 at bats at Greenville, but I think he needs to be challenged more than he is getting at Greenville.

Amen brother! Maybe next year was the recurrent theme throughout New England. To me 1946 was really tough. Watching Williams walk on a balls an inch off the plate rather than try to get runners home by swinging at pitches a little off the plate. That was tough.

As I posted earlier, Hang’em Chaim seems to have huge issues with differentiating between electric stuff and below average stuff!
