  1. Come on my man! You gotta keep the faith. Yes the rays swept us four straight games! But they beat 3 triple a pitchers and then the crack bullpen blew yet another game! I thought Winkowski pitched well. He is developing into a mlb pitcher before our eyes. Crawford was doing great through 6 innings. Best game I have ever seen him throw! Why we brought him out for the seventh without having somebody else warmed up in the bullpen is a question only Cora can answer. Good things going on here. A typical season is filled with peaks and valleys. You can’t let the valley bring you down. We need to focus on more productive things, like how to get brazier off the roster and Soto and two quality right handed relievers on the roster!
  2. At Greenville, Northcut with his 26th tater of the season, not a typo, Also Kavadas with another walk tonight, and he hit his 7th Greenville tater of the season.
  3. Typo, meant 16th.
  4. At Worcester, Stewart with his 26th tater of the season.
  5. Winkowski threw a decent game tonight against the rays. I like him more and more every time I see him. Our rotation is soon to be: Sale Eovaldi Pivetta Wacha Hill Winkowski Crawford Bello What could we get if we traded eovaldi to a national league team that needs a starter at the deadline? Yes eovaldi would be a rental, but teams paid through the nose for high to medium end rentals last trade deadline!
  6. I thought Winkowski pitched a decent game tonight. Take out two clunker games and he has been solid!
  7. In Greenville, Kavadas with his 6th Greenville tater of the season and 20th tater overall this season. Plus he got 2 more walks today, that gives him 14 Greenville walks versus 14 Greenville strikeouts. Man is he a beast. Northcut with his 25th tater of the season. Sikes with his 2nd Greenville tater of the season. Olds with 9 strikeouts in 4 innings.
  8. Brazier has to follow Robles as soon as possible. He is horrible! Time for Hang’em Chaim to trade for two high quality shut down right handed relievers!
  9. Mayer with his 8th tater of the season. Game was suspended in the 4th.
  10. At Greenville, Northcut with his 24th tater of the season. And Kavadas has another walk.
  11. At Worcester, Murphy is throwing a great game. 7 innings and no runs surrendered.
  12. I think Jordan, who is only 19, has had a better than expected year overall. The 8 taters seem low, but it is at Salem. However, he is hitting near .300, has 40 plus RBI’s and over 30 walks. He is figuring it out, but has a chance to be the next on the top 100 list.
  13. Mookie is Pedroia 2.0 when it comes to injuries.
  14. Yes they are! Best team I have seen play this season. If they pick up Benintendi, they become that much more scarier. It’s going to have to be “all hands on deck” every time we play them for the rest of this season. Ps: It would be better if two of those hands in our future lineup belonged to Soto!
  15. Rafeala makes the baseball America’s top 100 list! Amazing year by the kid!
  16. I’m assuming we are not getting a bye.
  17. No doubt, if he returns healthy. But we will still need an additional two stud right handers.
  18. T Miller with his 9th tater of the season. Go war eagle!
  19. Yup! That is how coach hetzog explained it to us.
  20. Hang’em Chaim must get us two solid right handed relievers for the bullpen at the trade deadline.
  21. All that matters is getting into the playoffs and being healthy. Once the playoffs start, everybody is zero and zero. It becomes all about which teams execute the best for 9 innings.
  22. If we can get five innings out of sale on Tuesday, that would be a very good start.
  23. Fitzgerald with his 14th tater of the season. Wong with his 6th tater of the season. Eovaldi thrown 3 innings thus far and gave up 4 hits and 1 run (he served up a meatball) 1 walk and 3 strike outs.
  24. I want to give props to recently promoted Jake Thompson. He is having a whale of a year in the bullpen. Ps: he is also right handed. Brazier should be hearing footsteps. Brazier can not join Robles fast enough.
  25. In this series, we used 3 triple a pitchers and did not get swept. That was a whale of a game.
