Pitchers tend to lose their concentration when the defense behind them is making errors.

How many Worcester guys break camp next year in Boston next year? Bello - yes Wong - hope so Cassas - maybe? Kelly - maybe? Politi - maybe? Mata - don’t think so German - don’t think so

Castellaneous has never met a pitch he wouldn’t swing at. 13 walks in 429 plate appearances. 3 percent. Kavadas and abreu must be wondering how he is at Worcester ahead of them.
-
Santos is a bit of an oddity. He is a soft tosser in triple a and he has next to no room for error. When he is on, he throws a really nice game. When he is off, it gets really ugly!

Brother, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that you do not work in public relations! You had a great opportunity to play this to the max!
-
Rafeala with his 12th Portland tater of the season!
-
Kavadas ….. the man ……. the myth …….. the king of the free pass to first base does it again. Another walk today.
-
At Portland, Koss with his 17th tater of the season. Dearden with his 8th tater of the season. Abreu with his 3rd Portland tater of the season.
-
At Portland scott with his 7th tater of the season.
-
At Worcester, hernandez with his 13th tater of the season.

At Portland, dearden with his 7th tater of the season.

Hamilton with three more stolen bases thus far today.

This turned into a different developmental year than I thought it would in April. Three guys really exploded: Rafeala, Bello and Kavadas. But a bunch of guys plugged along and took a big step forward developmentally, but the step was less steep and more linear. Guys like cassas, lugo, hickey, binelas, Winkowski, Gettys, blaze, Mayer, politi, Castellaneous, etc etc etc Newbies came in the draft and some got off to a blazing start: Romero, Anthony, Brannon and the biggest 2022 drafter breakout by far was meidroth! Two huge disappointments this year: 1.) yorke. He got off to another slow start. But every time he started to get going, he got injured. 2.) injuries! After decimating nearly the entire big league roster, injuries started destroying our prospects. Walter with the bulging neck disk, Cassas with the ankle, Rafeala getting hit on the wrist, yorke with a multitude of various injuries, etc etc etc

When you do not have electric stuff, the margin for error is very small. I think Winkowski could be an above average reliever in Boston.
-
At Worcester, Mieses with his 9th tater of the season. Winkowski gave up 7 runs in 3 and 2/3 innings. But only 1 run was earned as Sogard screwed the pooch!
-
Blaze Jordan with his 4th Greenville tater of the season.

Somebody needs to steal the pictures that brazier has of Hang’em Chaim eating a hot ham and cheese sandwich! This is like watching a train wreck in slow motion for the 70th plus time!
-
But we struggle mightily to develop homegrown pitchers! And since teams keep quality healthy pitchers, and Hang’em Chaim does not draft quality pitchers early. That only leaves the retreads for Hang’em Chaim.

Injuries have been insane this year. We need to revamp the entire medical/training staff.
-
Hamilton with 65 stolen bases this season thus far!

At Portland we have a monumental accomplishment………. I can not remember the last time this has happened last in Red Sox minor league history ……… but Kavadas got his 100th walk of the season today. The Red Sox have a guy, who is a single season, rose 3 levels, got 25 taters and 100 walks. Absolutely amazing!! And yet, if I had to vote for Red Sox minor league player of the year, he would lose to Rafeala and rafeala’s amazing 20 taters and 20 steal season, as well as quite a few spectacular defensive plays!

At Portland, Hamilton with his 12th tater of the season.

At Salem, meidroth with his 4th tater of the season!

Fitzgerald with his 16th tater of the season,

At Portland dearden with his 6th tater of the season and Wilson with his 12th tater of the season.
