  1. Soto for yorke, Mayer and monegro
  2. Free agency is the best route available to us for starting pitcher. We have to be prepared to overspend for snell. There are two starting pitchers from Japan being posted. Yamamoto will get a ton of attention. But Inomega will be a better starter than anything we currently have and cheaper.
  3. Cassas, verdugo, yoshida and Duran are our best trade major league trade chips. Yoshida and verdugo to Miami for Cabrera?
  4. Sadly only winkleman has electric stuff. Monegro has more moxie than stuff The rest of the pitchers on that list are at best relievers. Hang’em Chaim’s indifference toward pitching is a total head scratcher
  5. Can we really count on Mayer?
  6. Any interest in Ames Rosario at short and story at 2nd????
  7. Can Drohan get his command and control back and come tribute to the Red Sox bullpen in 2024? I do not see his stuff being good enough to be a starter
  8. Time for verdugo to buy a condo in Miami!!!
  9. I have sen a Castro a few times and I think this kid has tremendous bat to ball capabilities
  10. I wonder if Miami would be interested in yoshida and verdugo for a pitcher? Then we can move devers, the defensive menace, to DH. I think Chapman is a right handed bat? Duran, Rafeala and abreau is a pretty fast outfield.
  11. Or we trade verdugo and Duran and sign Hunter renfoe to a minor league deal snd stash him in Worcester
  12. Just cassas, yoshida, and devers as DH types? Basically only cassas has trade value. But he should be considered untouchable
  13. I am hopeful verdugo gets traded this offseason. I still think this is our last chance to get trade value for Duran.
  14. Who will replace Hang’em Chaim?
  15. Which DH types do we have a chance to jettison this offseason.
  16. Final game of the year. Abreau with a hit, rbi and walk. I am really hopeful that this kid gets a shot to stick next year in Boston.
  17. Turner made himself a lot of money this year. He owes it to himself to seek the best deal he can.
  18. Duvall is a free agent. Duran’s trade value is probably at an all time high. Verdugo is an extra left handed bat with trade value. It is easier to trade for an outfielder and stash an AAAA outfield bat at Worcester than any other position. We move verdugo and Duran and see kind of pitching prospect we can get in return
  19. Duran, dalbec, and cassas all started slow when they became full time starters, two out of the three figured it out, made the adjustments and contributed. Abreau and Rafeala have earned the right to have that same chance!!! Valdez defense is so bad, I am not sure he is in the same category as them!
  20. Pitching. Pitching. Pitching and more pitching should be the offseason priorities! Bello and four days of rain is not a good strategy. Sale breaks down more than a 1978 ford pinto. Pivetta is dr. Heckle and Mr. Hyde! Houck and Whitlock are bullpen only guys
  21. Last night, Rafeala scored from third on a dribbler to the pitcher. This is what the kind of excitement and guts he brings to the lineup. I hope he and abreau start the year in Boston next year and verdugo and Duran (sell high) are traded away. We can always sign Hunter Renfro and stash him in Worcester
  22. Free agent signings I want to see: 1.) starting pitcher snell - bad peripherals not withstanding 2.) starting pitcher inomega - Japan posting 3.) starting pitcher ryu - risk reward signing 4.) relief pitcher matsui - Japan posting Trade verdugo, Duran and dalbec for a quality relief pitcher or prospects
  23. To add injury to insult, Hang’em Chaim assembled some of the worst defensive teams ever. Our infield was leakier than the titanic (post iceberg) bad pitching, terrible defense and good hitting do not win many championships
  24. I think you are correct. Our lineup is very left handed. And we have more quality lefties coming up in the farm.
  25. That was when Hang’em Chaim was here. One of holtzon, smith or Massey would be a huge drop off from burns
