  1. Do we bring hazel in to be cbo
  2. Is story adequate enough defensively to stay at short stop? I tend to think he has lost a step or three and has a pop gun arm! I think could be better defensively at 2nd base for us.
  3. Was mata a Hang’em Chaim guy????
  4. I think if they both have a good spring training, they deserve to stay in Boston. Abreau has excellent on base potential. And Rafeala, has tremendous potential to be a difference maker in center field
  5. If winkleman’s command and control improve even slightly, then he should be in Boston by September 2024! Kavadas’s swing is so long, and he struggles to pick up the spin on the ball. it is hard to see him ever getting an at bat in Boston.
  6. I think abreau and Rafeala have earned a shot at Boston in spring training. Duran is such a defensive liability that it is hard to see him playing regularly.
  7. Can we move story to second base and sign a really good defensive short stop???? Our infielder leaks more than a 60 year old prostitute
  8. If Hang’em Chaim is still here. Then we would have shota starting!!! But if he is a lefty reliever, then let’s sign as soon as possible. We sign snell as one starter for next year. For a second starter, I think we look to Miami and a possible trade situation.
  9. The Japanese lhp inamaga should be signed by us this offseason. Then if we sign a guy like snell, we could fill two huge holes in the rotation. Next we got to have a quality left handed reliever. Not sure there is any free agent I really like. We have either Duran or verdugo as a trade chip plus some impressive prospects
  10. Hang’em Chaim is gone, but his prospects are going to be impacting this organization for years to come. His failure to execute effectively at the trade deadline, understand the importance of defense, and his inability invest in pitching remains puzzling to say the least. I think we did graduate a bunch of desperate Dave prospects and I think we have a dozen talented youngsters in the pipeline. But the new guy must get two quality starters and a quality left handed reliever or two.
  11. His pure stuff does not pop when you watch him in person! But I think his moxie is off the charts!!!
  12. There is a lot of noise about verdugo being a clubhouse cancer. Maybe it is time for him to get a fresh start elsewhere. Plus we need two good starters and a lefty reliever
  13. Anthony’s approach at the plate is years ahead of his age. He has a really good eye. When he is not overextending trying to hit home runs, he is really short the ball and has an excellent eye. I know he starts 2024 in Portland, but if he stays with his plan of getting the bat on balls he can handle, he might possibly be a September 2024 call up
  14. An outfield of Rafeala in center, abreau in left and verdugo or Duvall in right should be used for the rest of 2023. Rafeala and abreau need the at bats more than the others
  15. I think Hang’em Chaim has hit home runs with teel and Anthony! I think Hang’em Chaim has doubles with Mayer, yorke and Jordan
  16. 1.) sign snell, Hang’em Chaim has a history with him I think. 2.) sign inmaga the lhp the Japanese are posting. 3.) sign the best lhrp on the market.
  17. Japanese lhp pitcher inmaga is going to be posted this year. We should go balls out for him.
  18. I got Mayer, Anthony, teel and winkleman on my untouchable list
  19. Yes, I think he is a clubhouse cancer
  20. What offensive players/prospects would Miami take for one of their starters?? Ps: can’t be any of our untouchables. I am hopeful that by next September winkleman is in our rotation!!!!!
  21. I think abreau and Rafeala should be starting in the outfield with verdugo!
  22. We need to move him to dh next year. Maybe occasionally in left field. Our outfield should duran-Rafeala-abreau and refsyndyder Sign a couple AAAA guys and stick them in Worcester
  23. When your starters are hurt most of the year and you have no depth and the healthy starters are mediocre all of the year, the result is that the bullpen arms get burned out by September.
  24. Why is pitching an afterthought to Hang’em Chaim
  25. We should be grooming houck to be our closer after janson leaves
