I get that pretty much every player has splits that favor them playing against a RH or LH pitcher. But these guys aren't robots. Many of them don't want to be in and out of the line-up every day and need consistent playing time to be in a rhythm. It looks good on paper, but won't always play out on the field.

I'm not sure, actually. From his statement, it seems to me like he thinks he's the 3B. Time will tell how it all works out.

There's other Spanish speaking players on the team, literally hundreds throughout baseball and millions of people in this country that speak Spanish, yet the only one claiming that he didn't say what he said is you. Surely one of those Spanish speaking people would have spoken up at this point.

Whatever, dude, it's what he said. You can claim the translator doesn't know Spanish all you want if it makes you feel better.

Well, I do agree to a certain point. He didn't simply say "I want to play 3B". He stated "I am the 3B". That's why people presumed it may be a problem. But I do agree that nobody truly knows yet and it is all our own opinions. I certainly did not try to be a jagoff to anyone. Sorry if it was interpreted that way.

Maybe, he said he has no beef with the sox. But he also hasn't been told that he's no longer the 3B anymore yet either.

Yeah, like I said, bunch of excuses. People can interpret it any way they want. I saw a guy who wasn't happy about the prospect of being moved off his position.

I didn't claim that he refused. Simply because he can't refuse until he is told to move position, which hasn't happened yet.

I didn't get "played", I listened to the interview. He was adamant about not moving position, pretty simple. All I see is you trying to make excuses and tell us what we saw didn't happen.
