  1. I never stated my opinion, But given his recent statements where he was pretty adamant about staying at third, it doesn't sound to me like he would go quietly into the night.
  2. So based on nothing.
  3. Well, I guess we will all find out soon enough.
  4. While I agree the choice is obvious, it's another thing to get devers to agree to it.
  5. Seems that the only one who didn't get that memo was devers himself.
  6. My business has zero to do with any of that. Why not ask first instead of making an ignorant assumption?
  7. That part I don't agree with. I would prefer that he defer to management and support their decision.
  8. It's behind a pay wall and I refuse to give any money to the nyt.
  9. No, but I'm not naive enough to believe all 25 guys are in agreement either.
  10. On the other hand, if cora let's devers dictate where he plays then it could have the effect of the inmates running the asylum in the clubhouse.
  11. Nonsense, bregman has zero seniority in the clubhouse aside from cora going back to their trashcan banging days in houston.
  12. Nah, once I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken! :)
  13. Regardless, they weren't going to strike because devers refused to follow the team's instructions. jad is delusional.
  14. Well, if he refuses to play where the team tells him to play then he is in violation of his contract. Hence, the union would have no leg to stand on. That's why, as the article pointed out, Soriano moved to the outfield. Smh. And, no, I never have been part of a union nor would I. I have been a business owner most of my adult life, not a worker.
  15. Well, if he can't swing a bat without getting hurt than he's in the wrong sport. Shuffleboard maybe?
  16. Either way, 1B or DH would be less strenuous than 3rd.
  17. LOL, the union is not going to go on strike because devers violated his contract. Geez..........
  18. Umm, if he refuses to do what the team tells him to do then the union wouldn't have a leg to stand on. Smh.....
  19. Wouldn't shoulder issues make it a smarter idea to move him to 1B, or, better yet, DH?
