i feel your pain. i've lived and died with this team for 50 years. i hate losing and when my team is losing, year after year after year, then i find another team to follow. for me it's been the Cardinals and Rangers. i really like the commitment to winning the Rangers have made of late.
LOL....i hear this every year. i'd rather go for it. i'm sure tightass Henry agrees with you. but as long as gullible rubes keep buying the ******** he's selling, i'm afraid the Sox will be "punting" every year.
any of them but Giolito and Montas. the Sox should have signed Gray instead of wasting their money on Giolito. he throws a lot of innings but f*** he gives up a lot of runs.
You seem to be saying that the Sox are bad at developing pitchers or drafting pitchers is a crapshoot. I’m not sure they’re any more of a crapshoot than any other position.
IF we use the surplus Sale $$ to use on starting pitching, I’m ok with this. Otherwise, would it not have been better to wait and see how Sale does this year and then possibly get something for him at the trade deadline? Who knows, maybe he turns it around and has a great season. Which is no different than hoping Kluber or Paxton or some of this other crap the FO signs does the same v
it's "b". and i think it's a combination of things as to why -1) several failed high-dollar free agency signings like Crawford, Panda, Price, etc.; 2) seeing teams like the Rays win on the cheap, and 3) hubris.
