whoop tee do. wonder why Bloom didn't want his boy Yoshida? and i've seen some say that Blaze was blocked at 1B. AYSM? we don't have anybody playing first and Blaze should have been given a chance. he couldn't do worse than Toro.

yeah, i wasn't knocking Carlos, I just figured Masa was the slowest. i totally forgot about Triston.

surprised to see KC at 286. i just didn't realize he was that slow. Masa comes in at 422 and just behind Cal Ralieigh at 421. of course Cal doesn't have to worry about his speed when you hit as many home runs as he does. even more surprising is that Masa is not the slowest player on the team -a distinction that belongs to Narvaez at 449.

i'm so glad Brez traded Raffy for this salary dump POS. now, he's like Masa. we're paying him a bunch of money so we have to use him even though he's worthless as f***.

Cease gave up 5 hits, (including a HR), 5 walks and 5 runs in 4 2/3 tonite. so...pretty much normal for him.

that was 37+ years ago, but yeah, she knew i was a huge Sox fan. we were living in Birmingham, AL at the time and went to Atlanta to watch Braves/Cardinals on our honeymoon. :-)

i told my wife before each of them batted that Story was gonna whiff and Masa was going to ground out to 2nd. they are just too predictable.

the Yankees have a guy in AAA named Duke Ellis that they used last year for that very thing. and i tell ya'....that boy can flat out fly.

not surprised. i know we've all seen dozens, maybe hundreds, of "top prospects" fade into oblivion over the decades. that's why i'm always hesitant to trade a proven, established player for "top propects".

i'm sorry, but no way in hell should he be ranked 29. maybe the 29th best catcher. maybe.

the fact that he's their #2 prospect says more about the condition of the Padres farm system than it does about him.

totally agree. maybe an alternate title would be: Trying to Understand Brandon's Obsession with a Mediocre Two Month Rental and Catcher Struggling to Hit His Weight in AA.
