How many more years does Devers have before he can become a FA?
-
I think Bogey called the shots last time, because he likes Boston unlike Betts, and wanted to stay unlike Betts. It’s just a question now if he still wants to stay. If he doesn’t then trade him after the season.
-
Why do you keep assuming that Bogey will be gone?
-
What’s the confidence with Sale pitching?
-
It was either play the OF, or not play at all in that NL park.
-
True. He got it by default.
-
I still don’t get why Richards came in at all.
-
He had some pop this year, but was in the 240’s most of the year, so it would be nice to get on base more too.
-
How does Tampa keep coming up with these good young pitches?
-
That’s right Schwaber will be gone, and JD will finish out his last year.
-
It was the right choice to start E Rod. It didn’t work out, but it’s not like you had tons of choices. The penalty you pay for not winning the division, and having to use EO in the playin.
-
-
Or why bringing him in at all.
-
So you want a guy with less production? JD is not going anywhere next year, and they don’t need 2 DH’s.
-
Don’t get to caught up in Schwaber. His high BA in his career is 266, and he has only driven in more than 71 RBI once. Yes he may hit 35 dingers, but he is no JD, and not worth a big contract.
-
This may have been E Rod’s last start in a Red Sox uniform.
-
Doom, and gloom already? Speed, hitting, D, and pitching. This is a good team.
-
Well like I said earlier it’s been nice chatting with you, and we’ve battered things around enough today, so let’s agree, where we agree, and disagree where we disagree, and move on to Tampa Bay.
-
Well if Cora made the call, and you disagreed with the call then you disagreed with Cora.
-
Wasn’t Cora the one who made the call, or am I missing something?
-
If Cora would have left Nate in to face Stanton, and he homered yes I would have thought it was the right move. I still say he had a better chance to get him out than Bra. Didn’t you say earlier you would have left him in to, or was that someone else?
-
I said he’s here now, and not going anywhere, and I’m fine with that. Final answer. As usual always nice to chat with you, and I can’t believe you haven’t commented on me saying I was wrong last night.
-
If Stanton’s shot off Bra had been a few feet higher, and tied up the game would you have thought it was a good move then to take Nate out?
-
Why do you care so much if I would fire Cora, or not. I have already answered that. Now while I have said I wouldn’t have hired him back in the first place I said he’s here now, and not going anywhere, and I’m fine with that. I’m not bring up the hate comment to you, but because as you know according to another I think Cora is dumb it gets brought up in the response, so nothing directed towards you.
-
You said dumb based on my words, so I guess by your words Cora is a total Genius, which he is not.wWho is Grady Hatton?? Also I do not criticize Sale for his in game, or pre game anything. Your reasoning for the dumb comments make no sense at all, because I don’t think he’s a good manager. No Sale did not have to Start Saturday, but I thought he was a better option that Houck who had been banished to the pen, and giving him another days rest turned out real well.
