  1. Wrong again, because Kutter Crawford is starting today. Wow Robles had the 4th lowest ERA, and what he’s done before matters what now? No Houck has never demonstrated he’s a bonafide closer, but how many opportunities has he had. If Cora would have made Whitlock the closer opening day we wouldn’t be still talking about closing, we would have more wins, and maybe Whitlock wouldn’t be injured from the so called Whitlock as a starter experiment.
  2. Cora had already said last night after the game why Houck didn’t close.
  3. Why?? The report I saw was Kutter Crawford is starting today.
  4. Cora said after the game that Houck had never pitched in back to back games before, so they have to build him up for that. I guess 22 pitches the night before was to many pitches, and they had decided before the game that Houck would be unavailable.
  5. Jay Dee may be going on a HR run.
  6. Franchy, and his luster are starting to wear off.
  7. Wacha is paying for that complete game tonight.
  8. More small ball. The Go Go Red Sox.
  9. Sox playing some more small ball tonight. Love it!
  10. Now Evol is pushed back on his next start. What’s up with all the hip problems?
  11. Yankees are bombing tonight.
  12. I would imagine Arauz.
  13. Still after all these games, and Cora doesn’t have set roles for these guys. It’s been fun with all these wins of late, but they’ve been against bad teams. The lack of a real closer will show up even more when the Sox go back to playing the better teams, and especially that 17 game stretch in July against NY, Tampa, and Toronto, which will mean Houck won’t go. Actually it’s a 23 game stretch with 3 games against the Cubs thrown in.
  14. I think Story Land Sat because he K’d 4 times the last time against the pitcher.
  15. Bogey, and Story Land both resting tonight.
  16. Not what I read. We’re the Bra Man, and the Sour Man down 10 days? It didn’t seem like it.theoleballgame.com.
  17. I believe they can come back sooner in case of injuries.
  18. Vaz at 1B, and Arroyo in RF. Bogey in tonight.
  19. Kike on IL, but Duran not called up. Arauz called up.
  20. Suzuki got off to a good start, but is injured now, and hasn’t done much since. I don’t think any of the 2B/SS signed this past off season has lived up to their money so far this season either.
  21. Well you said the trade for Story didn’t make sense, and everyone knew that he would be playing 2B, so I guess that is on Cora, and Bloom that you don’t agree with it. Bogey’s team, and Jeter’s team made sense to the people making the decisions.
  22. This is Bogey’s team, so I don’t think it was an interesting choice to keep him at SS. Now if Cora would have made the choice to put Story at SS that would have been the interesting part. JBJ is just as good in RF, and especially in Fenway has a better arm.
  23. Kike is a good CF I never said he wasn’t, but I just think JBJ is better. Dugy doesn’t have the speed, but they all make up a real good defensive OF, but not as good as 2018.
  24. I know you think Kike is a better CF than JBJ, but I’ll take JBJ.
  25. Agree, because not everyone would have been in the exact same spot to begin with, and not all gets equal jumps.
