    Well written, and I agree 100%. I’m still trying to understand what Bloom means when he said things are going to be awesome.

    A starter who goes 7 innings, and gives up 3 runs, or less, or a starter who goes 6 innings, and gives up 2 runs, or less. That to me is a quality start. I could care less about a ton of heart. Throw dam strikes.

    It will be interesting to see what Bloom does with the Arroyo, and Duvall situations on who comes, and goes. To many IF, and you don’t need 6 OF.

    The way Duran is hitting? How about the way Kike is hitting, or not hitting as the case may be? Kike shouldn’t be playing everyday platoon, or not?

    Arroyo must be about ready to come back, so some move is going to have to be made there, and Kike’s bat isn’t good enough to stick anywhere unless he’s a big upgrade somewhere for D.

    Agree 100%, but Kike is Cora’s favorite son. I said it at the time, and I’ve said it many times since that the Red Sox could have made better use with that $10M.

    You are only 1/3 through the season. At the rate the starting rotation are going with the innings pitched by the AS break might be a different story. I repeat only 1/3 through the season.

    True, and you have a 8 man BP, but the workload doesn’t get all spread over 8 equally. Martin, and Jansen are basically 8th, and 9th innings guys. Of course so far this season the Red Sox have had a lot of comings, and goings already, but the more you pitch some of these guys the more they can become exposed. Kut Man, and Wink have been pretty good for the most part, so far this season, but can they hold up for a full season?

    Oh, what a problem to have so many good players you don’t know what to do with them all. Too much quantity, or tomuch quality? Add Duvall to the mix, and then is 6 to many, or is 6 not enough?

    Imagine that some on here were salivating on playing these teams with a losing record. How do you like them now? Luckily there’s another bad team coming in this WE.
