  1. That is very true, but he has had a flash, or two with the Red Sox where he looked like he would turn into something good.
  2. Yes, and like I said earlier he was unsigned for a long time until SD grappled him.
  3. He is looking more shaky in the OF as the season goes on. Right now I think Turner more at 1B would be a better way to go. I’m all for giving Casas a longer rope, but the Red Sox are dropping further down in the standings.
  4. News flash! Evol, and Wacha aren’t pitching in Boston now either, but that’s what people are looking at now on how well they are pitching, and Kluber sucking. I never said Perez was that good in Boston either. You focused a long time on wanting the Red Sox to resign Evol, and Wacha when that was never the point, or the issue. Have you figured out yet if the Red Sox just signed Turner to be on the bench? That was a good one, but you should have your answer by now. He was a good pickup, but JD hit his 14th yesterday, and so far is having a better year with the bat.
  5. Wacha, and Evol are both pitching better than Kluber now. Martin Perez pitched better than Rich Hill last year. Those are facts.
  6. You can spin things a different way all you want, but it doesn’t change the bottom line.
  7. I have said that many times when the same question, or the same response was made from the same poster. Bloom gets paid big bucks to do his job, and I’m not going to do it for him. Like I have mentioned before that Bloom was just one of the many geeks in the nerd room in Tampa, and now he is center stage, and out, and front as the HOBO. Tampa is still a lot better team than the Red Sox, so I think they grabbed the wrong geek.
  8. Was that the Bloom Circus I saw yesterday back in town throwing the ball around like a bunch of Little Leaguers? I didn’t know they would be invited back from last year. Definitely baseball follies stuff for ESPN. Funny, and sad at the same time. I know Cora was impressed.Throw in some of Kike’s exploits at SS, and you’ve got a show all to itself.
  9. He’s like Bloom that he throws lots of things against the wall, and hopes something will stick.
  10. You are missing the point, because you are still focusing on wanting Evol, or Wacha back. The problem is what you replaced them with is worse. Bloom signed Richard, and Perez a couple years ago, and neither worked out very well, but he brought Hill onboard last year, and Martin Perez was better than Hill last year. He got rid of Evol, and Wacha, and Hill too for that matter, and, and brought in Kluber who is worse this year than Evol, Wacha, and maybe Hill too, and Martin Perez is still pitching better than Kluber. The main point is Bloom replacements are usually worse than who he replaced.
  11. 3 times over.
  12. You’re missing the point as usual. What they replaced him with sucks, and Evol is rolling along at 8-2 with a 2.24 ERA. Kluber is mopping up in the BP. Wacha is doing pretty good too.
  13. The Nathan talk will go on all year as long as he stays healthy, and pitches like he continues to pitch, and Kluber continues to suck. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if there wasn’t such a difference this year between Evol, and Kluber, but there is, and that’s why the talk.
  14. 3 hits for Mayer today, so maybe he can relax some now, and settle down.
  15. And out of the kindness of his heart he upped ticket prices for this year.
  16. And gets a standing ovation everywhere he shows his face in public.
  17. You keep saying that, but what were they replaced with? Even Bogey who has tailed off big time is better than what the Red Sox have keep trotting out there at SS. Evol, Wacha, and JD are all playing better than their replacements. It not that hard to understand why they keep getting mentioned.
  18. No the point being that even Rich Hill went 6.2, and it’s been 2 weeks since anyone from the Sox went that far. Hill might have been better than Kluber though.
  19. Even old friend Rich Hill went 6.2 innings today. I believe the last time a Red Sox starter went 6 was Bello on May 23. Lots of innings for the BP since then.
  20. Duvall, and Bobby D up, and Casas, and Duran back down.
  21. The lowball offer to Bogey last offseason was just great for team moral, which I believe carried all through the season, and was made worse with how they handled the Vaz situation.
  22. And Kluber coming in with a broom to mop up.
  23. Yes Kike is unimportant. He has lived off his 2021 hot streak in the postseason by some on here for two years now. Evol took the bigger sum of money, which was not surprising at all. Update from today for Evol. 6 IP-1H-0 Runs. Kluber pitched in MOP UP.
  24. I agree, and I’ve always said Whitlock too, but with Sale out now Wink, and the Kut Man would have to go back into the rotation, which at this point might not be such a bad thing.
  25. Last years circus is back in town.
