  1. Raf Man is going to Winter ball to play 2B, so who knows what will happen. Raffy will be at 3B, Story at SS, Casas at 1B, and. Yoshida will be in LF/DH next year. Outside of that the possibilities are endless.
  2. When Bloom, and Dugy had a meeting out on the field after a game a few weeks ago was he making the same promise to him that he gave to Kike last year that the ball club will be better next year?
  3. Wow we!🙈
  4. I’ll believe Bloom adds good pieces to the rotation when I see it, and not until then. He might wait to get out from under Sale’s contract. A crazy pill would be counting on anything from Frail again in the rotation though.
  5. I’m not sure Dugy will get traded, and I’m not sure JT won’t be back, so if one, or both of those things don’t happen then all kinds of changes won’t happen. No one knows what Bloom will do, and he probably doesn’t know himself. JT could be back at DH, and Yoshida could be back in LF, and who knows where that would leave Duran.
  6. Yea why don’t we just waste away some more of Raffy’s prime years not to mention why signed Yoshida, or Story. Nothing like a 7 year rebuild to appease the fans along the way.
  7. 3 out of the last 4 years has rained on my optimism. Just because the farm system has a higher ranking doesn’t necessarily mean the big league club will be so successful. Mookie, Raffy, Bogey, JBJ, Beny, and Vaz won a championship, but that doesn’t mean Casas, Bello, Raf Man, Mayer, and Anthony will, and in the meantime last place in the Div, and not making the postseason is totally unacceptable to many. You shouldn’t have to finish in last place to make the farm system better, but that’s what has happened in 3 out of 4 years with Bloom.
  8. Postponed again tonight, so another DH tomorrow between these two juggerNOTS. It doesn’t get any better than this.
  9. But the Red Sox might be better in 2026. At least that is what the hope is, but that might never happen.
  10. I would say another last place in the Div finish, or anything close, which would make 3 out of 4 years of the Bloom regime would call for a total flushing out from the very top to the very Bottom. Enough of this crap.🤭
  11. Yes he was, and it’s probably not the end of it.
  12. Sam must have been to busy.
  13. Tested positive for Covid.
  14. Without JT, and Duvall, and if Story Land doesn’t somewhat get his bat working again some RHB with some pop will be needed.
  15. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this isn’t close to the opening day lineup next year. The biggest question mark would be if Dugy is still here.
  16. Raf Man, and Abreu stay in lineup. JT is out.
  17. Kike for making errors, Casas for making errors, Masa for being a bad LF, Duvall for striking out just to name a few.
  18. LL worked out, and that’s the best I’ll say. If Cora is the reason the Red Sox were good in 2018, and 2021 then he must be the reason they have sucked the last two years. Doc Rivers went from having the worst record in the NBA one year with the Celtics to the best record, and a Championship a year later. Same coach, but different players, and different results. The Red Sox didn’t win in 2018, because of Cora, and they haven’t sucked the last two years just because of Cora.
  19. The rumor is David Sterns contract with the Mets will be $10M/yr. What would Bloom be worth on the open market?
  20. No my chief complaint was bringing in LL first when I thought there was better options.Cora was terrific in 2018, because he had a powerful lineup to manage. I’m very well aware the Red Sox only scored 3 runs in 18 innings yesterday, but that doesn’t change my complaint. Your No Name offense sucked yesterday, and on that we agree.
  21. When JH made a guest appearance on Felger, and Mass he said that Lucchino ran the Red Sox. Now he doesn’t, and I’m not sure that’s a good thing.
  22. The old JH of 10-15 years ago would be disappointed, but who knows with this JH of today.
  23. I think this team right now is more listless, and lifeless then they were at the same time last year.
  24. IF we Go 15-2 the rest of the way we have a chance too.
  25. So? There was Nothing done during this season even being 10 games over 500 at one point with the conditions the pitching staff was in, and the inconsistent no name offense as Max would say, and the schedule ahead to even think above anyone’s wildest dream that the Red Sox were going to do this. Going 4-11 in the last 15 games was a lot more likely scenario than even going 8-7.
