  1. For someone who said they wouldn’t comment on me anymore through other posters you certainly didn’t keep your word after thinking you’re punishing me for putting me on ignore for the upteenth time. I know exactly what giddy is, and you didn’t talk O’Neil up after last night’s game so tonight had nothing to do with what O’Neil did like it did last night when he sucked after you talked him up.Stalk? I thought I smelt a stench coming from the Southern part of the state, and now I know what that stench was, because it was you.
  2. And like I keep saying Max the League just isn’t that strong, so that’s why the Red Sox are hanging around 500 instead of 20-51 like you mentioned, so by rights in other years you would be right.
  3. True, and unless there is an injury it tells more to me how you finish a season than how you start one. Maybe his arm was going then.
  4. It’s only the middle of June, and doesn’t mean much of anything.
  5. MOOn is getting giddy, so stay tuned for things turning s*****.
  6. I was not sad to see Sale get traded, but NEVER liked the $17M the Sox gave Atlanta. Post 333 on the Sale thread was one place I mentioned I thought Sale would stay healthy, and have a good year for the Braves, but it wasn’t the original post I made on Sale staying healthy.
  7. Wha, wha, wha. Staying around the 500 mark, give, or take a few wins, or losses is still a lean year, which makes it 3 years in a row. Wasting 3 years hoping that things will get better doesn’t do it for me. You may enjoy Abreu’s play in RF, but he doesn’t compare to Mookie, and that’s who should be out there, so Abreu just doesn’t do it for me. You may see 500 as the glass half full, and some may see it as half empty. You cry about criticizing fans for enjoying themselves when you have criticized fans more than anyone for not seeing it your way. Does haters, Bashers, and disdainers ring a bell? It should, because you have rang that bell more than anyone.
  8. I called it when Sale got traded that I thought he was going to stay healthy, and have a good year for the Braves. Not that hard really.🤫
  9. It’s costing the Red Sox more money to have signed Gio, and still shell out $17M for Sale than it would have to just kept Sale. Gio was just a batting practice pitcher last year for HR derby.
  10. Agree, and to play BAD fundamental baseball for three years now in a row is a bigger reason of why the record has been what it has then selling players off. I guess some like watching Little League baseball. I do to, but not at the Major League level.🤭🙈
  11. I’m talking Baseball too, but I’m not going to start talking about selling players off until I see how the teams doing in July. Not before the season even starts. Once again if you want to do a sell off before the season even starts then why even bother to play the season at all?
  12. MOOn talked him up big the night before, and usually when MOOn gets giddy about someone when they have a good game, or two things turn s*****. He did the same thing with Abreu a couple of weeks ago, and things got so s***** Abreu fell down the dugout steps, and has been out injured. It’s just an uncanny knack he has. A curse. Not a gift.
  13. Well said, and Dugy has all those Big bats around him too, which makes it easier for him.
  14. I had no problem Dugo getting traded, but just not to the Yankees. They did Dugy a BIG favor in doing that, and not to mention he will help the Yankees.
  15. Some on here have been selling players off before the season even started for the last three years. Why even bother to play the season?
  16. And like I’ve said many times that you don’t throw years away, and this could be three years in a row with the hope that things get better down the road, because that hope might not turn out as good as what people want.
  17. How about just putting a team together where you don’t have to sell off anyone, and actually do some buying?🙈🤭
  18. Ah yes the favorite pastime on here, on who, and how many the Red Sox can sell off.🤭🙈🤮
  19. Bad night/good night. The Celtics sucked, and got embarrassed by the Mavs, and also embarrassed themselves in a well deserved loss. On the Red Sox side BBB (Big Baby Bello) couldn’t last 5 innings, and had another bad outing raising his ERA to an unimpressive 5.00 in a well deserved loss. On the good side Dugy got to strut his stuff hitting a HR on the first pitch he saw, and getting a couple of more hits as well. I said when Dugy got traded to the Yankees he would come back to haunt them, which was an easy prediction to make, and I’m sure he’s not done yet. Go Dugy!🤫
  20. Especially Alex Cora. GO CELTICS!
  21. Even if NO ONE retired does every player play the same way every year, so to say the only logical way the quality of play would drop off would be if a pile of stars retired doesn’t seem logical to me. Not everyone stays healthy either.
  22. Where did you get that idea, or come to that conclusion. Wouldn’t Grissom have started the year at 2B? Good, or BAD he would have been the opening day 2B, and wasn’t saying anything different than that. I wasn’t one of the ones on here all giddy at the aquistion either.
  23. The Red Sox did not play 1 inning this year with their regular lineup. How many players on the Red Sox 26 would be even on the team today let alone playing. DHam is one of them. They have been more Worcester North this year than the past two years.
  24. In most ANY other year this Worcester North Red Sox team would not have a 500 record today in my opinion. I don’t see any logic to say it would.
  25. Just my belief. Just look at the division. Both Tampa, and Toronto are nowhere near what they have been the last two years, and if this Red Sox team had played the last two years they wouldn’t be anywhere near a 500 record today. I know you guys want to believe otherwise, but I’ll stick with my opinion.
