I'm not sure why, I don't spend hours upon hours dissecting this team the way you do, that's why I asked you. But I have a hard time believing that the weather affects one team more than the other teams. It certainly doesn't seem to be bothering the astros tonight.

A few years back when eovaldi pitched for the Yanks and a bunch of us went to the Yanks vs marlins. The guys in the other car went the wrong way and didn't get to the park until the 3rd inning. The Yanks were already down 6-0 by then if I remember correctly.

Correct, and that's why I clarified my question. And, again, since there are only 2 teams behind the sox, I don't think the cold weather excuse really holds up. Also, I never said that they suck. And I don't know why their power is down, that's why I asked an "expert".

Well, as you pointed out, the dead ball pretty much affects everyone equally. So that really doesn't explain why the sox are so far down the list, not compared with their past but with their present competition.

Nope, there's plenty of teams ahead of the sox that have played plenty of cold weather games considering there's only 2 teams behind the sox.

Well, other teams have played in the same cold weather and I'm pretty sure they are all using the same baseballs......

Doesn't seem to be affecting Judge, Stanton and Rizzo. Those three combined have more HR's than the entire sox team.
