    Most MLB players are not MENSA members, they don't double check anything and chances are they wouldn't know what they are even looking for half the time. That is the job of medical personnel. That's why I don't believe the excuses when players say "I must have taken it without realizing it"

    Nobody said it was BS, the article clearly states that he was cleared to pitch. They are just happy that the suspension allows them to bring him along a little slower.

    No, but he could be lying to make excuses for his poor performance. And as was stated above, did they only force him to throw sliders at home? His splits were horrendous.

    Well, ellsbury's contract will be gone when guys like Judge and Torres are set to get the bigger money, not to mention I hardly see Keuchel getting more than 3 or 4yrs guaranteed at this point. And it's not like the Yanks can't afford it.

    More than you think given today's TV contracts. We just watched San Diego shell out $300M, I think that says all you need to know. Not to mention it only takes one or two other teams to create a bidding war.
