    Imagine if you will a world where the RedSox have a 2 game winning streak, where Ryan Weber was the starter and gave up a HR to the first hitter, and where the top of the lineup ( Beni, Rafi, JDM)was a combined 0-12 with 8 K's ? It shows that in the Fenway twilight zone, anything is possible. These 3 guys are hitting .468 when their BA's are added together. OPS of 1.618, or .539 average. Exactly 1 HR and 6 rbi's among them.

    Weber misses the strike zone all the time right at the edges, and can't buy a call.

    Weber truly has nothing. His prior year sometimes effectiveness is totally gone. RR has somebody up already. If you can't get 4 or 5 innings, you don't need to be even going out there.

    Genius Joe Maddon is actually doing a worse job in terms of results with the Angels and more substantial pitching. Just be glad the Sox didn't win the Shohei Otahni $100million+ sweepstakes, but at least he can hit a bit.
