    Bello has only 50% strikes with a big lead. Guess he doesn't want Yankees to hit the ball He gets both Judge and Stanton to K, but throws more pitches than Brito in 1st. BP getting nervous already but the shutout remains intact

    I don't care which teams we play either but I do care that MLB.com cheats its subscribers with games moved to AppleTv and peacock. We even get AppleTv BUT to see a game there you must subscribe to AppleTv+ for another $6/mo. The extremely large area blackouts . No wonder MLB hires guys like Angel Hernandez, no clue whatsoever.

    There are 6 possible outcomes for the Sox-Yankees series. Most likely is 2-1 Sox but Bello must get the one tonight , trusting one or more hitters show up, a rare event in itself . a 2-1 or 3-0 outcome in Yankees favor would not help the cause.

    Perhaps the cumulative effect of bullpen overuse since Day 1 of 2023 ? Exacerbated by the July stretch of missing 3 starters and doing nothing about it , except hire a private bus from Worcester to Boston and back daily.

    There is a chance some of them are not terribly smart or well educated . Many of the baseball talented Dominicans drop out of school after 6-8 years to enter the baseball academies which are supposed to continue their education in baseball and life. Where do you think the emphasis goes? Rafael Devers has been in the Sox organization for 10 years, since he was 16. I'm sure he understands baseball English but will only speak officially through an interpreter. On the other hand, Ortiz continues his career in broadcasting.

    Drop the series in D.C., never dominant in any game, the one win on a fluke WP/PB run. BP explosion in final 2. More sloppy play and baserunning contributed to the 2 losses. Score 50% of the runs in 1 inning out of 27

    McGuire, Devers, Story leave 2 on in the 9th. . The GS and Dever's 2 run HR were just stat dressing.

    Whitlock and Winckowski , at least their last names begin with a W . Sox about to go down to another sub .500 team. There was a period earlier this year when this team was just not even interesting. With all the big names back, they have found that level again.

    Total horseshit play by Devers. But Sale walked the leadoff hitter Downs who then stole 2nd, went to 3rd on a crappy throw by Wong and ties the game on an error by Devers. Nothing changes with this team and it is not a team looking better in the stretch.
