    My son worked for an Independent League team for 2 years. I went to quite a few games. Weber is not better than most of the pitchers I saw there.

    I have to admit that after watching a couple of exhibition games on MLB, it wasn't that bad. The piped in fan noise was ok. I will watch it. I will watch hockey. I am done with the NBA. Jury is still out on watching the NFL but fantasy league will probably keep me watching. Not during National Anthem though.

    I am happy if they win 4 in 12 years and are competitive in most of the other years. Heck, I am happy if they win 4/12 years and suck the rest of the time. WS Championships are to be cherished.

    Bloom will not be paying any one player 40 million a year. That is not how you build a team today. Those contracts cripple the payroll. Lessons have been learned. I don't see him paying anybody over 30 million a year.

    The signing of 3rd round pick Blaze Jordan makes this a good draft. He is a first round talent. Red Sox strategy in Round 1 pays off.

    One thing for certain, if they have a short season, any batting average records, such as someone hitting over .406, would have to have a huge asterisk by it. All in all, if they have a season, most fans won't care about it. Until fans can be back in the stands, all sports will lose viewers and interest. Just like some people want.

    Why do you think MLB and the Yankees are trying to keep it from becoming public knowledge? There will be things in it that hurt the Yankees image because they cheated too. Everyone knows it. The idiots obviously didn't have the talent to cheat and win because they haven't won anything for over 10 years.

    Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight! That's why they are appealing the Judge's ruling to release the letter. They don't want the public to know that information. You can stick your head in the sand all you want. Every team tries to steal signs.

    Lots of top prospects not drafted due to draft only being 5 rounds. Sox now have a chance through free agency to get some good guys.

    Like what the Red Sox did in today's draft, especially the Jordan pick. Hope they can sign him. Don't give a flying F*** about who the Yankees drafted.
