    I disagree about Betts Moon. I think they will offer him a huge contract again in the off season. If he turns it down they know he won't resign. They can get a lot for him in the off season. He will be traded. Look what Arizona just got for Greinke. Remember the Herschel Walker trade?

    I can't get mad about how the Sox are playing. I got over that a few months ago. I have accepted that they just aren't that good as constructed and they will not win this year. Last year was great and the games were so gut wrenching in the playoffs, I can use a year off from watching the playoffs.

    You are right about Castillo. I thought he was done after this year. Cherington should be fired for that signing....Oh yeah, he was.

    By retired, I meant he is never playing again. I know he won't officially retire for monetary reasons. He will be unofficially retired. He may be the manager when Cora is gone.

    They are still paying him 12 million a year. I know it doesn't count against the luxury tax but its money they don't have.

    Next year: Moreland gone, Porcello gone, Fat Panda off the books, Castillo off the books, JBJ gone, Mookie probably traded unless he agrees to an extension during the off season, Brewer gone, Hembree gone, Pearce gone, Pedroia retired, Leon gone, Cashner gone. I am probably forgetting a few. Big changes coming.
