  1. If he has options, stash him in AAA and see if he improves. He is not a major league hitter now. No plate discipline and not enough hard contact.
  2. How about the bad moves during the 2022 season: 1. Failing to trade Bogey at the deadline. 2. Failing to trade Wacha at the deadline. 3. Failing to trade JDJ at the deadline. 4. Failing to trade Eovaldi at the deadline. 5. Failing to trade Hill and Strahm at the deadline.
  3. If he has a good first half, Chaim can give him a big extension.
  4. JBJ: No, no, no, no. Didn't the Sox waste enough money on him last year. The guy can't hit his way out of a wet paper bag. I don't care about his defense. He is an automatic out.
  5. Yoshida in left, Duvall in center and Dugo in right.
  6. Dugo can play RF.
  7. Dugo can play RF.
  8. Sox will sign Iggy to play SS. Kiki will play second. Duvall will play CF or RF. Verdugo will play LF.
  9. Red Sox sign Adam Duvall. One year, 7 million.
  10. One year, 7 million.
  11. Red Sox sign Adam Duvall.
  12. Another SS. Can't have enough of them.
  13. No, nope, no. All are bums.
  14. I think it can officially be said that Story is injury prone. Not a good thing. As Bill always has said, "The best part of ability is availability".
  15. I can't remember ever agreeing with anything you say BUT, this is spot on.
  16. Looking back at the 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 MLB draft, I have not heard of any of the players taken at #73, 74, 131 or 132. MLB draft is a crap shoot. Half of first rounders never see the majors.
  17. I am extremely glad that the Red Sox signed Devers. Its not my money, right? He is a really good player and the Sox had to get him signed or the fan base would jump ship. That being said, this will probably be a bad deal in years 8-11. I hope not but if Raffy gives the Sox 7 really good years it will be hard to complain. Lets hope Mayer and some other youngsters turn out to be really good so they can be starters and contributors under cheap contracts.
  18. John Henry booed at Bruins game. Rightfully so. What have you done for us lately. The Sox can't rest on 2004, 2007, 2013 and 2018 forever. (Although Skanks have won only once during that time). They need to spend the money to be competitive again. And spend it wisely (Sandoval, Crawford, Cameron, Smoltz, etc). As they stand now, a last place finish is a big possibility. I don't think they will finish last but right now my excitement level for this team and this season is a 1 on a scale of 10.
  19. Voit could platoon at first and hit 20 homers. Easily. He has tremendous power.
  20. If Miami wants to throw in Alcantara, fine.
  21. Better than being owned by the Astros. Skankees haven’t won anything since 2009. Why don’t you slither back under your rock.
  22. I wouldn't say Kluber is better than either one of them.
  23. That's a success at the start of free agency, not after everything has been picked over.
  24. The Corey Kluber from 5 years ago would be a great signing. This version, not so much. He won't put up better numbers than Wacha did.
  25. Red Sox sign Kluber, one year 10 million.
