  1. Santana won that battle of the bands.
  2. I'm one of Devers biggest fans, but I was just broaching a thought that seemed to make sense.
  3. Decent job by Pivetta. One big mistake and he paid for it.
  4. Well, the great Mr Williams once said "pitchers are the dumbest animals on the planet."
  5. Because Devers will swing at practically anything, makes one wonder why a pitcher would even throw him anything in the strike zone.
  6. There's a shite load of Santanas in this game.
  7. I just wonder how really awesome Devers could be if he had any idea where the strike zone was. That at bat was pathetic.
  8. Two balls in a row called strikes. I never feel bad when a HP chUMP gets hit by a foul ball.
  9. There were a lot of requests for Ryan Weber's services.
  10. The SOX batters will do much better when they get into the Royals' BP. Er, what's that? Nevermind.
  11. Hard to call a good game behind the plate when the pitcher has only one pitch he can throw for strikes.
  12. Head up his azz base running by Arroyo.
  13. Zero runs and pitch count under 20; an exceptional 1st inning for a SOX starter.
  14. I don't know if it was mentioned in Wednesday's game, but the GS hit by Arroyo traveled 467 feet.
  15. Hi, Moon. The SOX are 8th in ERA and Houston is 4th.
  16. Was it brown with a UPS symbol on it?
  17. I agree with this. However, I would say there's at least a half dozen starters I would prefer over Betts. SOX need a quality starter and I have no idea how they'll acquire one.
  18. Only one team in the major leagues that has a higher team ERA than the SOX(4.24) and is playing over .500 ball is the Reds (4.70). They are 35-32.
  19. Concerning the Rays; will they go against their nature and try and make a deal for Scherzer? They do have the prospects to make that happen.
