    SOX have scored 9 runs which is obviously a good thing. However, this problem of not scoring runners on 2nd base with no outs is a problem that has continued from last season.

    Tough managerial decision, but probably the best decision for the long run.

    Then similar to last year, we'll just have to hope this SOX BP is up to the task.

    With most of the SOX starters, with maybe the exception of EO, only going 5 or less innings most of the time, this will be a recurring problem.

    Nasty pitch. I doubt Miggy would have hit that in his prime.

    What may be a little food for concern is I doubt the SOX will face a weaker line-up than this current Tigers' line-up.

    Too early to be a 'huge' problem.

    With the rule that a reliever has to face a minimum of 3 batters makes it a dangerous proposition to bring in A. Davis. Hopefully, he'll prove me wrong as the season progresses.

    I'm pretty sure he alone brought a lot of fans to the park. Most great power hitters do.

    This is the sad truth about long term contracts, especially when the Tigers didn't even get a sniff of the WS during Miggy's years. Not sad for Miggy, of course, although, like all great players, he would have liked a WS ring. Somewhere Ernie Banks and Ted Williams are nodding their heads. Please, no frozen head jokes.

    I'd take any of the 4 to build a franchise around. They're the definition of 'top shelf' when it comes to hitting a baseball.
