Yes they did. 2018 the best team in baseball during the regular season won it all. That doesn't always happen. Btw, an amazing fact regarding the SOX. Their won/lost record in their last 4 WS wins is 16-3. Think about that, and if it wasn't for an error in the LA series, they would be 16-2. F'ing incredible.

If the ball had hit Renfroe while it was in the air and went over the fence, it would be ruled a HR. This would be similar in regards to a ground rule double.
Games like this make baseball, imho, the best of all pro sports. And, thankfully, the 'ghost' runner was not used in the PO's. Hopefully, that stupid rule will be gone next season, but I doubt it.
