  1. As late as August, 2019 Sale was throwing many pitches at 100mph. In fact, Eck was in the booth when he threw 5 of them against the Yankems.
  2. Let's say the catcher calls for a curve and it hangs over the plate; is it the catcher's bad call? Can we please sometimes give blame to the pitcher? Also, when a pitcher misses the target by a foot, whose fault is that?
  3. The O's are 7th in fielding in MLB based on fielding percentage. This just magnifies how bad the O's pitching is. Btw, the SOX are 27th.
  4. I believe it was the pop band CAKE.
  5. Just remember, what happens playing the O's has little to do when playing an actual major league team.
  6. If Richards can finish the 9th, he'll earn his 1st save. He'll have pitched the final 3 innings which qualifies as a save.
  7. He and Devers are saving their bashes for the Yankems.
  8. I'm pretty sure the glove won't fit.
  9. Off the top of my head I can list 3 embarrassments to MLB: 1)Tampa's home field 2)The Orioles' franchise 3)The umpiring
  10. Prime piece of defense there by Devers.
  11. No doubt. He hit the ball hard in the last series also, so I believe we can now put the sore wrist issue to bed.
  12. Fenway is the only ball park that's a HR in, which is good, because that's where they're playing.
  13. The only player in this game I feel bad for is Mullins. An excellent major leaguer playing for a disgustingly bad ball club.
  14. The White Sox beat the Yankems on a walkoff HR by Tim Anderson after SOX closer Hendricks s*** the bed in the top of the 9th. Btw, after the game at Field of Dreams field, none of the dead baseball legends appeared, but, instead, the Children of the Corn turned up and scared most of the attendees to death. I thought I heard during the game that the ticket price for this game was $3,000.00. There was a rumor spreading that a farmer offered Brian Cash a million dollars to purchase Judge. The farmer's plow horse had died and he wanted to use Judge to replace the dead horse.
  15. He might as well; there's really no rush at this point.
  16. You've all heard of laundering money; the Rays launder players.
  17. Isn't that what Valdez did in the 9th last night, except the hitters weren't hitting into outs, and he gave up 7 runs.
  18. True. They're acquired by trade when the Rays get rid of their players who will be too expensive.
  19. This comparative stat should demonstrate the importance of timely hitting. SOX= .259 team BA 575 runs. Rays= .236 team BA 586 runs. These numbers are as of this morning.
  20. When their pitchers or everyday players get too expensive, the Rays' FO sends them on their way. Then they go to their fabulous farm and bring up some new crops.
  21. The Rays have such a great organizaton that they can lose their best starting pitcher(Glasnow) in June and still not miss a beat.
  22. Getting lambasted by the SOX yesterday definitely has affected the Rays. It did drop them from the #1 to #5 in team pitching, but they'll probably move up a notch or two after this game.
  23. Those of you who predicted the SOX would get nothing for Chavis were correct.
