  1. Changing to professional football. How bad are the NY Giants? Well, they tried that baby carriage trick play today, but someone forgot to put the football in the carriage.
  2. I'm sure you mean Scherzer, because Patkin's dead.
  3. Freddy Freeman has K'd 7 times in a row in this series. If a great hitter like Freeman can strike out 7 times in a row, anyone can. So when Schwarber or Bogey K's 3 times in game, remember this.
  4. Watching the Dodgers/Braves game. I've noticed that Max Scherzer has a slight resemblance to Max Patkin, who was the clown prince of baseball.
  5. I met Clemens in person. Rumors of him being a complete A-hole aren't rumors; it's a fact.
  6. When Jack Hamilton hit Tony C in the eye with a fastball, that was the worst thing I'd ever seen in a baseball game. In seconds a most likely fantastic baseball career was ruined.
  7. The Dodgers' starters and BP can make the offense of any team they face look pathetic. That being said, it is true that they haven't faced as good an offense as the SOX or Astros. Btw, the Dodgers' offense isn't anything to write home about, but their pitching and defense will make them a very difficult team to beat in the WS, if they get there. I believe they will.
  8. Actually, SOX BP, except for D-Hern, wasn't that bad. Good job by EO, Ottavino, and,as usual, Whitlock. Great win!
  9. SOX now have home field advantage. SOX BP is better at home, I think.
  10. The SOX BP continues to prove no lead is safe. Probably a good idea to keep D-Hern around in case there's a brawl on the field.
  11. I could see an objectivity issue there.
  12. When Gibby started a game, the BP stayed in the clubhouse and played ping pong. Plus, what manager would have the balls to take Gibson out of the game?
  13. I've given up with trying to make sense of chUMPIRING in the major leagues.
  14. Allen was a piece of work. He would write derogatory messages at 3rd base with his spikes directed at the fans and the owner. He was also strong as an ox and employed a 40oz bat at the plate.
  15. Gibby once threw at a player in the on deck circle. Except he wasn't in the on deck circle. He was trying to get a better view of what Gibson was throwing, so Gibson just threw the ball at him.
  16. It's wise to win this game; everything else is minor.
  17. And if Bob did hit you with the pitch, it would be stupid to rush the mound, because then he would hit you with his fist.
  18. SOX offensive pattern in so many games this season. Score early and often and then go on vacation. Personally, I don't care when they score the runs, as long as they score enough to win.
  19. Btw, if you prefer comedy over drama, I would recommend you becoming an Orioles' fan.
  20. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a 6 run game. If the SOX do improve the BP next season, we won't have as much drama as we've had this season. I believe we all love drama.
  21. Walking the #9 batter. That sounds familiar.
