    Speaking of SOX hitters and RH ones at that, who was the better hitter? Jim Rice or Manny?

    Just checked the SOX schedule. They have 6 games remaining against the O's in September. Of all the teams the SOX want more games with, it's the O's.

    Dick Williams was my favorite SOX manager, although he couldn't be a manager in this era of coddling players and not hurting their feelings. Mr Williams was fired by Yawkey mainly because YAZ didn't like him. YAZ was treated by Yawkey as if YAZ was his son.

    Seriously, how bad is Andrew Heany? I did notice that he has a 5.78ERA. Hopefully, he's bad enough for a SOX win tomorrow.

    Btw, Schwarber needs 5 HR's to reach 30, which would give him 30 or more HR's for 3 straight full seasons. Can he hit 5 HR's for the SOX? I'm pulling for him.

    The SOX are the SNL of major league contenders. Has any other contending team had more 'not ready for prime time' players than the SOX?
