  1. I have the Extra innings package, but all the away games are fed by the home team and all the Yankem games where I live are either on YES, Fox, or ESPN.
  2. Hopefully, tomorrow night I'll finally get the game feed on NESN. It's been quite awhile. Is Jerry still alive?
  3. The SOX don't just beat the opposition, they demoralize them.
  4. If the Jays get any pitching going into next season, there going to be the team to beat in the AL East for quite a while.
  5. Also, a recurring place for them to be because of the starting staff.
  6. Not worried, the SOX are behind. A comfortable place for them to be.
  7. Probably not going to happen, but if Bloom picks up a couple relievers, perhaps Cora can insert BP starts.
  8. The NERD in the booth on ESPN never heard of BB King. Hey, NERD, there's more to life than just baseball.
  9. A 61-39 record with this starting staff, except for EO, is straight out of the Twilight Zone.
  10. One doesn't go on a throw from Renfroe.
  11. He'll probably be sent down when Arroyo returns, but will be brought up a couple weeks later when Arroyo goes on the IL again.
  12. Rain, now smoke, I guess next it will be locust.
  13. Should the SOX extend Cordero now or wait till the end of the season?
  14. Simply the SOX best player and hopefully he'll retire a SOX.
  15. If one wants to know what's wrong with Pivetta, simply go on the internet and look at his lifetime stats; especially ERA and WHIP.
  16. If the SOX just played .500 ball the rest of the way, they would finish with 92 wins. I just wonder how many here would have predicted that at the end of March? Or starting the season being swept 3 games by the terrible O's.
  17. I noticed the Jays now have him leading off. He's a very good all-around ballplayer.
  18. Are you a passive aggressive? You seem to be.
  19. This has nothing to do with Rick Porcello or with baseball for that matter. I just wanted to tell anyone who's listening that Martin Short is the funniest comedian working today. He's actually been the funniest for a long time. The man is truly a genius. If Mr Short doesn't make you laugh, you're already dead.
  20. My father, bless his soul, didn't follow baseball, but after years of me expounding on players like Rice, Yaz, Lynn, and Fisk, he too became a SOX fan. My father suffered a major heart attack on a Saturday afternoon in 1986; the same day that the SOX lost that 6th game to the Mets. The worst day of my life.
  21. Btw, if it wasn't for Ted Williams, I probably would have grown up a Yankem fan, because of the environment.
  22. Central NY where I live is Yankem territory. When I go out for a couple of brewskies wearing my SOX cap, I endure a lot of abuse from Yankem fans, and since 2004 they really hate me.
