With Ray and Ryu the Jays have two quality starters. If they can add some more good arms to their pitching corp, they're gonna be a tough team to deal with in the foreseeable future.
In fact, Toronto, who are 10.5 games behind the SOX and barely over .500, have almost a 20 run higher differential. Obviously, a meaningless stat.
But somewhere in Fenway Park the ghost of Rod Serling is whistling the theme to The Twilight Zone.
Also, I have no clue why anyone would think Garrett would be helpful in the BP. To get rid of him the SOX would probably have to add a prospect in the deal, even if it's for a bag of balls and still the SOX would probably have to eat part of his contract.
Ya know, Moon, with these goofy 7 inning games the SOX could have done a BP start in the 1st game. Could of, should of; obviously it doesn't matter now.
Good job, Moon, but in Thunder's defense, he really didn't have much of a chance with Richards starting a 7 inning game. And especially against the Jays' best pitcher.
