  1. No doubt. He hit the ball hard in the last series also, so I believe we can now put the sore wrist issue to bed.
  2. Fenway is the only ball park that's a HR in, which is good, because that's where they're playing.
  3. The only player in this game I feel bad for is Mullins. An excellent major leaguer playing for a disgustingly bad ball club.
  4. The White Sox beat the Yankems on a walkoff HR by Tim Anderson after SOX closer Hendricks s*** the bed in the top of the 9th. Btw, after the game at Field of Dreams field, none of the dead baseball legends appeared, but, instead, the Children of the Corn turned up and scared most of the attendees to death. I thought I heard during the game that the ticket price for this game was $3,000.00. There was a rumor spreading that a farmer offered Brian Cash a million dollars to purchase Judge. The farmer's plow horse had died and he wanted to use Judge to replace the dead horse.
  5. He might as well; there's really no rush at this point.
  6. You've all heard of laundering money; the Rays launder players.
  7. Isn't that what Valdez did in the 9th last night, except the hitters weren't hitting into outs, and he gave up 7 runs.
  8. True. They're acquired by trade when the Rays get rid of their players who will be too expensive.
  9. This comparative stat should demonstrate the importance of timely hitting. SOX= .259 team BA 575 runs. Rays= .236 team BA 586 runs. These numbers are as of this morning.
  10. When their pitchers or everyday players get too expensive, the Rays' FO sends them on their way. Then they go to their fabulous farm and bring up some new crops.
  11. The Rays have such a great organizaton that they can lose their best starting pitcher(Glasnow) in June and still not miss a beat.
  12. Getting lambasted by the SOX yesterday definitely has affected the Rays. It did drop them from the #1 to #5 in team pitching, but they'll probably move up a notch or two after this game.
  13. Those of you who predicted the SOX would get nothing for Chavis were correct.
  14. In baseball it's not 'what a difference a day makes;' instead it's 'what a difference a pitcher makes.'
  15. One question; why was Valdez pitching the 9th with a 19 run lead? Cora has both Robles and Davis who would have been much more suited to clean-up duty. Hopefully, this doesn't destroy Valdez's confidence going forward. One of the dumbest moves I've seen a manager do in years. Cora may be the most lovable, but he's certainly not the smartest tool in the box.
  16. Too bad the SOX aren't involved in that Field of Dreams game; they could pick up Jimmy Foxx and Walter Johnson.
  17. Can Buck pitch or play first? If so, UPS his ass to the SOX pronto.
  18. The SOX are like a magician whose magic has stopped working more than half-way thru his act. All he has left is a smile and a nice tuxedo.
  19. You'll be seeing a 3rd next Tuesday.
  20. The strike out or that he's coming back?
  21. A disgusting at bat by the guy who will be back next season.
  22. I'm just tired of this blaming VAZ for what is the worst starting rotation in the AL. Well, maybe not the worst in the AL, but definitely the worst among teams over .500.
  23. In fact, once VAZ is gone I expect Bloom to extend Richards' contract. Damn, if Bloom or Cora had noticed earlier that VAZ was the problem, the SOX would be, at least, 10 games ahead in 1st place.
  24. It's already been determined that VAZ is the problem regarding SOX pitching. He's been asked very nicely to leave the premises.
